Used this 3 times over the winter here in MD. 3 seperate snow storms. Each 6-9". Works great on powder snow. The last event was a wet snow. But the snow joe still saved my back. With the wet snow I learned to move it slower and it won't get to pavement, but still makes it so we and the public who walk on our sidewalk in front of the house can do so easily. I did buy a 100 ft med gauge extension cord at Home Depot which was approx $75.
