We bought these chair slipcovers to cover our stained seat covers. Be aware that the brown color is not as light as it seems in the photo -- it is a dark chocolate brown, which is fine. However, the covers sag on our chairs and will have to be pinned back to fit correctly. If you're looking for covers that have a bit of elasticity, like a sofa slipcover, look elsewhere. That being said, they are very soft and would look nice on a lot of different dining room chairs. I also like the size, as they don't drape over the entire chair but leave the legs exposed.

I ordered these slipcovers for a high-end Danish dining room chair. The seat is a bit wider in the front than in the back, and I was not sure the cover would fit. However, it fits well. The original chair cover is ivory, and I wanted a fabric for the slipcover that I could wipe off or wash in the washing machine. This item is exactly what I wanted. My husband has had a stroke and sometimes spills food on the chair he sits in, so I covered the original chair cover with plastic wrap, put the new slipcover over the plastic wrap, thus the original cover on the chair is protected. Since the slipcovers come as a set of two, I have a back-up cover while one is being washed.

These covers just didn't fit my standard parson dining chair. They are too loose, and hang down too far. The fabric looks rather cheap to me. I had to return them, guess I will have to try to sew some.

Really, these were very affordable - and my only complaint is that I have to iron them (no surprise) - and I hate ironing. Otherwise, they were an excellent value for the price.

I purchased these to get more time out of 6 parsons bar stools at my counter, that had begun to rip. Not wanting to spend $2000 on chairs right now, I purchased these, hoping they would do the trick..They look great, so long as nobody has sat upon the chairs. But, I have to rearrange them every single time someone gets up because the part that covers the seat is completely off of the chair. I guess the good news is that my husband will agree to new chairs sooner. ;)

This is a good quality cover in terms of material, but it didn't fit well on any of my chairs, i tried it on different chairs, but couldn't get it to fit right, the bottom is not elastic and you can not adjust it to fit, so I couldn't keep it on my chair, cause it didn't look good loose on the chair, looking like a pillow case kinda of thing.

Only problem is when folks scootch around in seat, the covers slip off chair. I plan to add some sheet straps to the bottoms and see how they work. They look great though.

i have two leather (well, fake leather) parsons chairs....the picture of the product looked great....nice and stretchy. in actuality the covers are worthless....they are not stretchy, were way too large....the ties for the back were poorly made. it was too pricey to return them, so i am going to donate them to goodwill and chalk it up to a bad decision. do not get them !!

I ordered 2 sets of 2 for my 42" leather barstools. I couldn't believe how quickly they arrived. The picture does not show that there is a skirt around the seat of the chair that hangs down. It is not fitted around the bottom edge. The overall apprearnce is much looser. There also is an elastic at the back. They looked nice for Thanksgiving but they are a little loosey goosey to actually sit on. They ironed nicely on medium heat ,high heat will scorch this material, be careful! I didn't get these for every day use, I have cats, but I don't think they would be suitable for it as they slide around a bit, looking messy and needing adjustment. Definitely worth the cost for my needs.

THe picture looks like this slipcover fits like a glove. Wrong!! It is loose and does not fit as a glove as pictured. The only way you can get it to fit is if you nip and tuck, pull and even sew!! The cover also moves once you sit and stand so it is a complete waste of time to try and get it to a perfect fit. Sending back today.

Most of the reviews that I read about this product indicated that the covers were too big for customer's chairs. My experience was the opposite...they were a bit too snug (specifically on the back portion). It took me about an hour of tugging and pulling to get them on and even busted a few strings of the stitch doing so. I purchased the covers to protect my chairs from further damage imposed by my cat. They serve their purpose without looking hideous. One drawback is that the seat of the cover (where your butt touches) doesn't stay in place well...I find myself straightening that part when I get out of the chair. I wish they were made of stetchy material, I think that would work better. One thing that is nice...the material is pleasing to the touch. Overall, a pretty good deal for the price!

Although the fabric is a little thinner than the slip covers from *** that I had on the chairs, these look really nice, and only I can tell they are a thinner material. The price is excellent compared to paying $50/slipcover so even if I go through them quicker, it's still a great deal. The dark brown hang nicely and do look like suede. I didn't have super high expectations given some of the reviews, but I plan to order more in another color too. I think they are a great deal for the $ and look more expensive on the chairs.

After being flooded and rebuilding our house we needed some dining room chairs that were cheap and looked good. Found some leather chairs but didn't think about our cat using them for a scratching post! After 5 mos. they really looked bad and I couldn't afford new ones so I check out the slip covers at Overstock and these seemed a good choice. Price was excellent and color choice was limited but ok.Very easy to install and even though they do not fit tight they are ok. Only elastic is at the back near the bottom and this doesn't pull them tight. They have sort of a shabby chic look and the burgundy color is suttle enough that it works.Excellent value and very quick to assemble. Haven't yet washed them so not sure how that will change the look.Very pleased with the item for the price point.

I agree with previous review, the picture is misleading. The covers do not fit snug as shown. They do not look nice because of the baggy fit although the material is very nice. Hopefully I can find an alternative cover that fits like shown in the picture.

I have standard dining room chairs, and these covers are way too large for them. Had to buy some stick on velcro in order to reel them in on the back so they were "shorty." Unless your chairs have a really high back and deep seats, do not consider these covers. The material and workmanship are good, but the size leaves a lot to be desired for most dining room chairs.

Since I ordered my dining chairs from Overstock, I made the (wrong) assumption that these would fit. They are huge! I am returning them immediately. You would have to have the perfect size chair for them to fit like the picture shows as the fabric is not stretchy. However, you won't know whether your chair is the right size or not because the product description does not give dimensions of the cover itself. If the product description was more clear on what size chair is required to get the fit shown in the picture, I would not have wasted my time with these.

These are great!! Everyone asks me where I found shortie covers. I have white parsons chairs so covers are a must!! Can clean easily under table and chairs because these are short and fit tightly. Love, Love, Love. Wish I could use all the colors...

I was expecting the covers to fit like the picture ,oh my goodness,the seat cover is just a loose piece of material that just hangs on the seat.not fitted at all & the back just simply hangs on the chair.

I bought these with a little hesitation seeing all the other reviews. I was very pleasantly surprised. The quality is excellent and the fit perfect for my chairs - they look custom sewn. I lucked out. Note that my chairs are a little unusual - they are wider near the top and taper towards the base. The covers fit perfectly and needed no pinning or further customization to look good. I am particularly pleased with the quality because my 6 year old has been sitting on them for more than a week now, with no regard to how he's seated, often stressing out the seams and stretching different parts of the cover to the max, and the cover has held up just fine. Very impressed.
