Small Bamboo Kitchen Storage Canister

I ordered three of these, along with two medium and one large. After having received them, my only complaint about the canisters themselves is that the closure mechanism could stand to be a little tighter - and there was a small crack at the base of one of the canisters and a number of dings and scratches on all of them. That, however, probably had to do with the lack of an adequate packing job. When they arrived, they were in a box that was twice as big as it needed to be - and the only "packing material" that was in the box was two long sheets of brown paper that were crumpled up at the bottom of the box. The canisters looked as though they had just been tossed into whatever box happened to be laying around, sealed up and shipped off. Fortunately, bamboo is very, very sturdy and the canisters only sustained a few minor dings. I hope that, for whatever reason, this was a minor oversight and not the shipping standard.
