Lid needs redesign
I was happy with this product until I used it on the High setting. Once I could see the food simmering, the condensation on the lid starting to spit out of the back side of the cooker and got all over my countertop. I had to fold up a paper towel and put it between the lid and the cooker to stop this. Lid definitely needs redesign

NOT MADE IN USA
I purchased this one in red. Nesco has been around since the 1932, I thought that it was made in American, it is not. "MADE IN CHINA" is printed right on the box. I called Nesco, and indeed this roaster is made in China. I have been researching this for awhile in hopes of finding a slow-cooker/crock-pot made in USA...good luck. So, allow me to save you some time, I have called the following companies only to find their products are made in China: Rival, West Bend and Hamilton Beach. Good luck folks.

We are thrilled with our new crock pot. If you haven't had a new crockpot in a while, you do need to know that some things will be different. Each button beeps when pressed - so if you are setting something for 10 hours, and it goes in 30 minutes increments, it will be a bit noisy! Also, there are rubber pads on the 3 feet so it does not really slide on the counter. These pads could be removed though. That said, I tried this for a pulled pork recipe for the Super Bowl - a recipe I had done several times before in our 12 yera old machine. I seriously was shocked how moist and tender the meat was and the flavor was outstanding. Cleanup was easy and I totally dig the stainless steel look. Have not had a chance to use the Little Dipper yet, so I can't comment on that.

ROASTER OVEN
I HAVE ONLY USED THE ROASTER ONCE BUT I DID HAVE ANOTHER NESCO ROASTER OVEN. THEY ARE HANDY AS A SECOND OVEN BUT I HOPE THIS ONE LASTS LONGER THAN THE LAST ONE.

Excellent Purchase
While looking for a rice cooker, I came upon this product - the multi-functionality of the cooker caught my eye. I, now, use it almost daily and love that I can completely prepare (brown and cook) a great dish, quickly and easily, with one appliance that is easy to operate and a snap to clean. It is my new appliance of choice and I would (and have) highly recommended it to others.
