I shopped all over the internet for a media storage solution for music CDs, and this was the hands down winner. It is sturdy and well made, attractive, and perfectly designed for this purpose. I was particularly impressed that it came with nine shelves, enough to completely fill it with CDs, with no wasted space. Most media shelving I've seen includes only enough shelves to fill the unit with DVDs, causing considerable wasted space in between shelves if it's used for CD storage. Assembly was quick and straightforward, with easy to follow instructions, all parts supplied and neatly packaged -- again, including enough support pegs for all nine shelves -- and only a very few simple tools required. I suspect I'll buy another within the next year, and I'm very happy to recommend it to others.

I would definitely recommend this slim tower. I use it for CDs and little trinkets on display. I bought the black on black; good quality wood; good construction. Nice appearance and slim! Highly recommend.

Wanted a tall unit that would fill an 18" wide stretch of blank wall, and this unit filled the bill nicely. Very nicely finished, matched my cherry bookcases.

The tower was surprisingly easy to put together. It was assembled in about 30 minutes. It looks fine and takes up a minimum of space. I had over 200 CDs, and there was plenty of space left. This was a very good buy.

Definitely nicer than the ones I have seen in the retail stores. Looks great once put together and does not take up a lot of room. Stores tons of dvds.

I bought two of these two store Dvds. I have a very small home and these work well. They fit behind the front door, look nice and were easy to put together. I only wish they were a little taller.

I chose thisprint - particular tower after driving myself crazy for months. I am very pleased with the sturdiness and the finished look of this piece. It looks like I paid a lot more for it. It has a relatively small footprint - small enough that mine is on my upstair landing - and it looks great! The only thing that wasen't clear in the description is the fact that 'standing' cds/dvds can get lost in the far right/left corners - behind the front panels.

This tower is extremely nice looking, easy to assemble, and has alot of storage. I am very pleased with the unit and would highly recommend it to anyone.

This DVD shelf holder arrived in perfect condition, was quick and easy to assemble and looks great. It does not look cheap or fake. The finish on the wood is lovely and it matches my other furniture perfectly. In fact, I liked the one I ordered so much that I ordered a second one and now all of my DVD's are in one place - side by side in my slim barrister towers.

I really like the slim design and sleek look. I originally purchased the smaller tower for my son for Christmas but we soon realized he needed something larger. So, I kept that one and we ordered this tower. It holds plentyand he has room for all his cds, dvds and even space to had his collectibles. I especially like the towers versatility with the shelving, it helps when you're storing different media. My husband put the towers together. I didn't hear any 4 letter words so it's safe to say it went well. His only comment was that he thought the back piece was a bit flimsy and there were alot of nails to put in to hold the back panel in place. The tower is laminate so don't expect a high end piece piece of furniture. Overall I am very pleased with the look, stroage capacity, and slim design. My son is very happy and it looks great in his room. :)

Easy to put together and you get what you pay for. Nothing fancy about it but i did not expect a lot. I was using a traditional bookshelf that was an eye-sore. I purchased the black and i was happy with the packaging and shipping. There are no cracks, chips, etc.

For an item that is not authentic wood, this slim barrister tower is quite attractive. I bought the Cherry one and it is surprisingly good looking and sturdy. Fits perfectly in the space provided. Very happy with this purchase as I am with everything I've bought from Overstock.

Paper board back - kind of cheesy. Priced a little to high. I paid **** including taxes. It should have been priced at $**** or maybe $****.

The cd/dvd tower was exactly what I had been looking for at the stores and couldn't find. The price was right and it was easy to put together. It came to my house within the time it was suppose to. I gave 4 stars because the product is not a 5-star product, but it was perfect for our familyroom. I was thrilled because my fr now looks much nicer and neater.

I needed to store my 400+ CD collection but had space constraints. I bought 2 of these towers and placed each on either side of a window which gave me room to put my tower speakers in each corner. Overstock.com had the best price. In reference to the quality they are OK for the price. Particle board scares me as I don't think it is as sturdy as wood but these days it's almost impossible to find too many things made of wood. and you'd pay an exorbitant price for it.

I could not be happier with the Barrister Tower -- yes its particle board/faux wood, or whatever you call it, but for $88 it looks pretty darn good. I got the cherry/black color combo which looks very true to the picture. This thing holds A LOT of CD's! Tons!! I'm very happy with this purchase.
