Slate/ Glass/ Steel End Table

I would recommend this to a friend as long as they knew exactly what they were getting. The furniture look good but the metal almost looks plastic until you touch it. If you're looking for something that looks okay I would get it, but if you're really wanting to make your house look classy, it's not the look you're going for. They worked out for me just fine, I just though based off the other reviews that it would look even nicer than it did. What we got was definitely worth the price. Some of the stone fell out of the coffee table but it was an easy fix. Both the end tables we got were just fine.

The two end tables arrived in less than a week after ordering. My husband put the first one together in short order. When he removed the table top from the 2nd box a defect in the black edging was immediately evident. I called the 800 number on the box the item was shipped in. The woman I spoke to in customer service was awesome. I told her there was a defect in the table top. She did not even question me, she verified the item and said a new top would be shipped. It was too easy! Within a week the new top arrived. Talk about customer service! The tables look great, the slate pieces match my decor perfectl I have noticed that many stores carry tables that have the slate incorporated in the design. However, I really like the design of the ones from Overstock and the price is great but my expereince with the customer service was superb!

These tables were not what I expected. I was on the fence when I ordered them but was anxious to get something for my living room. Well, I should have listened to my instincts. I ordered 2 side tables and the coffee table. Fortunately, I only opened one of the boxes. The table was well packed and I was able to put it together rather quickly. But I immediately realized these tables were not for me. The style and construction of the legs looked cheap. Additionally, I thought the cross hatch lower shelf with slate insert just made the table look too busy. These tables are sturdy, but they look mass produced and remind me of furniture you might find on an outdoor patio or sun room. I ended up returning all 3.
