I spent many hours looking for an end table that contained slate. However, knowing that sometimes we can spill we wanted something that if we spilled it wouldn't immediately fall through the cracks onto the carpet. Other slate tables with glass tops cost 2 to 3 times as much. This table was packed very well. It was easy to assemble (just have patience; assembly took less than 10 minutes). Granted the slate is not put in the top perfectly (there are some weird spaces between the tiles) and due to the slate being adhered to the top of the table there is no way to fix however this makes the piece unique. Item was shipped fast and would definitely order more. We absolutely love our new end tables.

Great table for the price! Very different! Slate was broken in one small spot when I received it. Easy to put together. I get great compliments on the table. I would definitely recommend this table. My mom thought I spent well over 300.00 for it.

It was too much trouble putting this table together to send it back - however - the placement of the slate tiles on the top was very poor. There are spaces and unevenness and the tiles are cemented in so it can't be corrected. I also did not like the shiney look of the metal - but, like I said, it would have been too much trouble to return it.

I would recommend this to a friend as long as they knew exactly what they were getting. The furniture look good but the metal almost looks plastic until you touch it. If you're looking for something that looks okay I would get it, but if you're really wanting to make your house look classy, it's not the look you're going for. They worked out for me just fine, I just though based off the other reviews that it would look even nicer than it did. What we got was definitely worth the price. Some of the stone fell out of the coffee table but it was an easy fix. Both the end tables we got were just fine.

The two end tables arrived in less than a week after ordering. My husband put the first one together in short order. When he removed the table top from the 2nd box a defect in the black edging was immediately evident. I called the 800 number on the box the item was shipped in. The woman I spoke to in customer service was awesome. I told her there was a defect in the table top. She did not even question me, she verified the item and said a new top would be shipped. It was too easy! Within a week the new top arrived. Talk about customer service! The tables look great, the slate pieces match my decor perfectl I have noticed that many stores carry tables that have the slate incorporated in the design. However, I really like the design of the ones from Overstock and the price is great but my expereince with the customer service was superb!

These tables were not what I expected. I was on the fence when I ordered them but was anxious to get something for my living room. Well, I should have listened to my instincts. I ordered 2 side tables and the coffee table. Fortunately, I only opened one of the boxes. The table was well packed and I was able to put it together rather quickly. But I immediately realized these tables were not for me. The style and construction of the legs looked cheap. Additionally, I thought the cross hatch lower shelf with slate insert just made the table look too busy. These tables are sturdy, but they look mass produced and remind me of furniture you might find on an outdoor patio or sun room. I ended up returning all 3.

Very well packed, easy to put together, looks great in my living room, bought 2 end tables and 1 coffee table---checked a lot of stores---this is nicer than anything I saw no matter what the price. Extreamly satisfied. The only negative---a little glue got on the top of the slate in a couple of places.

Great product! Good Price, Looks Awesome! Difficult to attach lower shelf with all four legs attached as the directions suggest. Attach the 3 of the legs then slide the shelf in and attach the last leg. Much easier that way.

Goes perfect with my slate fireplace. Looksl ike it was custome made for it. the slate pieces whould be grouted, though. looks a little unfinished.

Bought the end table and coffee table. Look great in my den with my leather furniture. 1tile was broken but it's unnoticeable in the table. No assembly directions with the coffee table but it wasn't difficult to figure out.

I ordered this to go between two couches and it worked great. I love the colors in the slate although I wish they were mixed better. It was easy for me to put together which my husband thought was great. I am considering ordering the coffee table to match.

I had ordered and recieved 2 end tables and a coffee table, but found I needed another end table for my large great room, but by then they were out of stock. I spoke with a customer rep and they said they would notify me via email when/if they restocked. I figured I was going to have to look for an end table that would work as I didn't hold much hope of recieving another. However, about 6 weeks later I dd recieve a notice and was able to order the matching piece. Very happy with the furniture. We painted the iron a hammered brown to match the room decor and it looks great..

The table is beautiful and very sturdy. My only complaint is I was expecting there to be more variety of color. All the slates that came on my table are either a grey or a blue. I wish there was more of a balance with the reds and light colors as well.

I love this table! I wasnt to sure about spending that much $ on table, but NOW I am ! It is made very sturdy, I love the slate work. Very easy to put together. Well worth the $ ! I am now thinking about ordering other one and the coffee table.
