The futon looks nice. The color is deep brown & the fabic is pleasant. It may be well made, I haven't had it long enough to know. Because of the poor (nearly non-existent) instructions, which, in fact were incorrect, I doubt the overall workmanship of the product. It may be fine, but I don't get a warm fuzzy feeling because the instructions are sparce and incorrect. Here is my advice if you want to buy this futon, go ahead. It looks nice and is comforable enough. Take a careful look at the photo. Notice that the slanted legs are on the front of the futon. When you open the box, and need to put the legs on, you can not tell which is the front and which is the back of the couch. The front of the couch is the side that has the zipper pouch (you'll know when you open it). Notice that the leg slants on the front of the futon face out. Also, the back of the couch requires the three straight legs, even though the instructions only mention a total of 4 legs. None of the markings on the couch match the holes on the legs...so don't predrill, until you mark where the holes need to go. With decent instructions I would have given this purchase a 4.5 because I would have stronger trust in the manufacturer. The missing 1/2 point would have been because it isn't as comfortable as I would have prefered.
