We love this hammock swing. It has held up really well. Through sun and rain it has not lost it's shape or deteriorated at all. We will continue to enjoy it for a long time.

I had previously (5 years )owned a cheaper one that was all cotton , and had it hanging in a screened in Lanai in my home in Florida. without warning it broke while I was sitting on it, and fell to the concrete ground...landed on my tail bone...Ouch! I am only 110 lbs, and this was mounted into the stud in my ceiling. it actually broke from the woven cotton rope that was on the left side, coming from the wooden rod. So I really missed my chair, and purchased this one that is nylon (stronger material) , and seem to be made better. So far so good.

Have ordered 3 different rope swing chairs from Overstock. This one is comfortable but if you are looking for the softest, go with the Phat Tommy. Twice as expensive but worth the money in coziness. For the $$, this one is good.

Love the rope swing, I can sit in it in various positions even with my legs up, and feel comfortable. My only wish was that they sent a little more extra chain for more flexibility in length depending on where you plan to hang it. My husband went out and bought extra chain to make it work for our tree.

Ours arrived with parts missing. The chain to hang it with was not in the box. We called overstock and they shipped one to us no problem.

I bought two of these and got them hung from a large tree several days later. My daughter and I proceeded to sit in them for several hours after that. I love the subtle movement and the fact you can position yourself a whole lot of different ways. Very relaxing.

This is the second one I have purchased. The dog got hold of it and chewed a hole in the seat. Dog is noiw in fenced backyard. Love this swing.

WOW, I weigh about 189lbs and 5' 8" this fits me in there like a glove. It looks awesome hanging on the pergola where my grapes will twine. The problem in install was the one "S" hook to connect the swing to the chain was not wide enough for it to fit. My solution was Lowes where one could not help another did. Basically leveraged it open in the tool center for free. Thank you Lowes.

This rope swing was purchased for my daughter to help with her sensory integration issues. It is comfortable and sturdy. We plan to install it in her bedroom, but are already using it hung on the swing set outside. Because we plan to use it inside and out, I don't leave it out overnight. It appears to be strong enough for the weather and sun, but I want it to last a few years.

This is exactly what i was looking for to put under my big tree i the back yard! its very cozy and i can curl up and my whole body snuggles right into it. I want another one for my front yard!~

I spend many hours in this swing. It hangs from my tree in the front yard and I sit/swing in it and watch the people walk by. I get a lot of comments on how nice and cozy it looks and my friends love to take it from me when I get up. I've had it for a year and it's still holding up, no sun damage or wearing problems. Great swing!

I have had this hammock chair for 3 years. It was absolutely great for the first two years. Very comfortable. However when we went to use it this year the polyester rope fell apart. You could break it with your hands. It was protected under cover during the winter but was outside. Maybe if it had been kept in the house it would have lasted longer. I would only not recommend it because it did not last very long without disintegrating. I have bought the cloth type and have had those for years without them disintegrating. If it were not for that problem I would rate it a 5 star.

This chair holds up well, but anyone who purchases it should keep in mind that once you sit in it the sides become very narrow and push against your hips and arms. I am not large - 5 ft 8" tall and only 140 lbs, but I found this chair to squeeze me - pushing my legs together and arms to the front of my body. Might be better for a child or someone who doesn't want to lounge and relax for a very long time.

I bought this for my 12 year old daughter who likes to hide in her room and read. It comes with everything needed to install it and took less than five minutes to hang. She spent the whole day in it. It is comfortable and relaxing. Just what I was looking for. She has already spent many hours in it curled up with a book. Gave a 4 star rating on construction because I am not sure how well it would hold up on a larger person, considering my daughter is a petite 12 year old.

Great chair, very comfortable and durable. Perfect for small places like aptartment patios! I will enjoy this product for many years.
