I guess I should have read the fine print...
I guess I am not well-versed in curtain hardware, but, in my naive state, I bought these curtain rods, thinking that I could use them for a 74" space. What the 50-74" really means, apparently, is that the large curtain rod can extend to 74", but the brackets holding the larger rod must be less than 70" apart in order to accommodate the second curtain rod. So, after installing the curtain rods, realizing this, uninstalling them, and returning them, I now have large holes in my walls. Maybe there was something I missed in the product description, but now I know. Other than the size issue, I can't complain about the set. It seemed fairly nice, though not terribly sturdy.

Very nice double rods
I'm very happy with the curtain rods and would certainly recommend them as I do almost every product that I get from Overstock.

Just as described " Simply Elegant"
This rod was just installed our daughter's room last night. It looks perfect with her sheer purple curtains and easy touch cellular shades. The simple elegance of this rod did not overstate or understate her window. The rod looks quite sturdy, so we expect it to hold up for quite a while.

- How is the quality of the product? The rod is great for light weight curtains.
- Did the description onsite accurately describe the product? The description is very accurate, easy to install and simple enough to match any modern decor.

Second rod not the size advertised
The decorative rod looks nice and seems to be good quality. However, the description implies that one would get a double set of rods, both sized 50-74 inches. The non-decorative rod is actually 28-70" and does not include a support bracket for the center, which is needed when stretched to the full 70". If your window is 70", you'll need the next longer size or will have to make do with curtains that just barely cover your window. The main, decorative rod is the advertised size, but since both rods connect to the same end brackets, it also has a maximum size of 70".
