I ordered two of these, one as part of the dining room table set and another to put under a sink-level bar. They assembled quite easily and they look nice. I do have a concern about how strong they are; they are smaller and more more narrow than they appear in the photos and I would worry a bit if two adults sat on them. They are sized more for children than for adults. That said, for children or for less frequent use, they are an affordable and attractive alternative to dining room chairs.

  • Solid furniture and easy assembly!

    This bench is a perfect front-door solution. The wood is sturdy and thick, and the only assembly necessary was to attach the legs. The bench feels very solid, and is a nice, small piece of furniture in my front room. I highly recommend this piece.

  • Great little bench for not much money

    I've shopped enough with overstock that I was confident I'd love the bench and as expected it's well constructed, heavy, perfectly stained. It was packaged well, arrived fast and was easy to put together with all included hardware. I wish I could show you how I'm using it with a picture. I recently swapped my sofa for a sectional but couldn't part with the opium staple coffee table which is rectangular. The square opium table is expensive and too small so I added this bench to the coffee table I have. It's quirky but works, the measurements were exactly right, the stain doesn't match but complements and the bench provides some extra seating as needed.
