Simone White Twin-size Slatted Headboard Bed

I love this bed. Purchased it for my 6 year old. She loves it. It's well made --- Solid wood in ivory color. It's not white which I really like. It looks like a 1000$ bed you could find at Pottery's Barn store.

As our twin girls approached 3 years old, we realized it was time to get their mattresses off the floor and onto a bed frame. I was very wary when choosing a bed as my daughters are VERY destructive, and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on something that they'd do away with in a short period of time. But I also didn't want something ugly. We usually head to Ikea for these types of purchases, but I wasn't taken with any of their twin bed options. I looked at all the options on overstock and amazon, and I decided on these beds because the other reviewers liked them, they were in our price range, and they were simple and not frilly/girly. We've only had them together a few days, but I am SO pleased. They're more sturdy than I expected, and best of all, they were VERY easy to assemble. It comes in just a few pieces -- as a headboard, footboard, side rails, and several planks that screw into the bed. It took my husband less than an hour to put both beds together. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is that there is a significant gap (5+ inches) once the mattress is in place. It's a standard-size twin mattress, but I imagine this was built to accommodate extra long twins too maybe? We have the mattress arranged so there's about a 3 in. gap by the headboard and 3 in gap by the footboard, and no issues yet, but it is a concern. All in all, I'd buy these again and recommend them.

My husband and I are very impressed with the quality of this bed. We purchased it for our daughter. Extremely easy to assemble. Haven't had her sleep in it yet (need to buy mattress) so that's why only 4 stars for now. We did a lot of shopping around for her bed (Pottery Barn, Macys, Ikea etc.) and just couldn't justify the prices at other places. Did not go with Ikea because we didn't like the look of the beds and wanted something that would last. We got the shipment within 3 business days!

My 5 year old is thrilled with her new bed! My husband set it up in about an hour and placed the bed on the highest setting. The first thing my daughter did was make a little secret hide out space underneath, but she likes to be on it too! And, there's ample space beneath for storage (the cloth cubes from Target slide right under neath with room to spare). She loves the height and we hung a sheer canopy ($20 from Ikea) near the head to give it a very "princess-like" look. The bed is solid and sturdy with no shaking. We have not had any issues with slats cracking. If they do, I think we would just add a few additional pieces of horizontal wood, but I don't foresee any issues with our 40 pound daughter. Overall, after A LOT of research and comparisons with Pottery Barn Kids and a few other local high-end furniture stores, we are VERY pleased. This looks and feels like a $500 bed.
