This set is a great value for the cost. Don't let the pictures fool you, they're not nearly as shiny (patenty) as they appear. They're a rich walnut color and every time someone comes over, they compliment me on the set. The only complaint I have is that Overstock doesn't carry the matching ottoman and I had to hunt it down through another website (which was a royal pain!)
