I purchased this set to replace an older leather set that was not standing up well to my two grandkids. This set is made of a very durable type of leather, not quite pebbled and not smooth. I have already had to clean up a few "mishaps" and the furniture cleaned off easily. My previous set would become lighter when cleaned, this one did not. It's easy to clean under because it sits up off of the floor. The cushions don't slide because they are attached with velcro, another great family friendly idea. I was initially hesitant to buy furniture sight unseen, but because of the reputaion of Overstock. com I took a chance. This was a great bargain pricewise and the quality is excellent!

The furniture looks much better in the photograph than it does in reality. The cushions are very stiff and uncomfortable. The arms are padded on top but not on the side. When lying down or leaning against the arm I have to put a pillow behind my back. When I unwrapped the couch there was a small (about 1 inch) scratch on the leather of one back cushion. It is hard to tell if it was scratched at some point or if the leather cracked. Overall, I am very disappointed with the couch and love seat.. Even though the price was very reasonable, it does not make up for the lack of of quality.

I had never bought anything from Overstock.com but had been doing my research on what kind of couch and loveseat I wanted. I read reviews and ordered this couch. It came within a week and was extremely easy to put together. Although a little stiff at first, the couch and loveseat are becoming comfortably worn in. It was the perfect addition to our living room.

I would rate these as 'fair' -- they look great and seem to be built well. However, they are not as comfortable as I would have wished. If you have cats or dogs, DO NOT purchase these. Our cats do not scratch our furniture but if they have their claws out while walking or while sleeping, the puncture holes or scratch marks are very obvious.
