Pleasantly surprised. I was looking for quality in fabric and a pad that was deep enough to accommodate my mattress. This pad does that and at a fair price.No more tugging when making the bed.You won't be disappointed!
Bought this to go over my memory foam pad, which was slipping and too hot. Great result. Both pads stay in place and temperature is more comfortable. The pad slightly dampens the softness of the memory foam, but the combination still feels "cushy." Fit was easy. (My cal king mattress and pad together are 14" deep.)
The mattress cover is soft and comfortable. It is made from a nice quality material. The only reason that I did not give this mattress cover a 5 star rating is because I read a review that said it did not retain body heat. I have put it on a temperpedic mattress because the memory foam is too hot to sleep comfortably, and I was told that a quality mattress cover would help with the heat issue. Even though this cover is comfortable it does retain body heat.
Did not hold up to washing, it disintegrated after 2nd wash. Fit was good.
My star rating is probably a bit harsh, but ultimately this was not what I was looking for. I thought it would be stuffed much more than it was, and thought I could use this as a mattress pad without a mattress pillow to soften up my brand new firm mattress, which I found out I can't do. This is a good quality product, with really deep pockets, and the fabric feel is great! But it's NOT soft enough to use alone. I bought a separate mattress pillow and now use this to hold it in place underneath my sheets. it's perfect for that, as the extra deep pockets allow for pretty thick padding on top of the mattress, and then still allow this pad to wrap all the way around the corners. It's great for that!
