Boiler Ready!
I purchased these mitts because I'm tired of burning my hands through cheap mitts. I put these bad boys to the test by putting my cast iron skillet in the broiler for a good 30 minutes. I used the mitts to remove the skillet and I didn't get burned (I felt the warmth through the mitt but nothing alarming) and the mitts didn't burn or scorch after handling the skillet. They are a little stiff, but I'm sure with time and use that will subside. I wouldn't recommend holding anything hot for too long with any kind of mitt, but for the price of these on overstock.com I'd definitely buy again and recommend. Good buy and a good product!

Seems to be a good pair. Pretty easy to grab things, even though a little stiff. I just got them a few weeks ago, so I'm sure they'll get less stiff as time goes on.

Excellent oven mitts
These mitts are much more expensive at stores. The silicone really provides insulation if you are using a hot oven. They really do the trick and are good looking too. Overstock again delivers! Arrived on schedule and are exactly as described. Very happy with them.

less than satisfied
i buy a lot of things from overstock and have only had to make one return that i can remember, however, if it was cost effective, these mitts would have already been sent back. they look ok and the thickness looked just fine. but, once i went to use them, i find all they are good for is a dish that might at the most be lukewarm. i will have to go looking for ones that function properly now and these will end up in the trash.
