I'm generally happy with the overall quality and appearance of these, but the back of these chairs are really uncomfortable. Since they're barstools we don't sit in them for very long, but I had bought the chair version too and those had to go back. Our family has a history of back problems, and after one dinner with the chairs, everyone woke up with sore backs!
Our kitchen has a lot of stainless steel; these chairs are really more of a matte grey. If you're looking for something to fit in with stainless steel appliances, these aren't the chairs. The overall quality of the chairs were, however, a great value for the price. Lightweight for sure, but seem to be well built for home use. For what it's worth ... I'm 6' tall and the chairs fit me fine; my wife is 5'4" and the chairback hurt her back when sitting, and she found the seat uncomfortable. Anyway, we sent them back based on color more than anything else.
I like the metal and the size of these counter stools. They do not quite match my stainless steel appliances but the style encouraged me to step away from traditional wood. I use 2 of them at my island counter and like that the backs basically reach just above counter height. They are really easy to clean and are light weight yet sturdy.
They are a bit heavier than I thought they would be but they are sturdy. I really wanted them to match my stainless steel appliances but they look gray instead of silver. I would return them but my husband recycled the boxes right away.
These stools are great for the price! They are sturdy and good quality, and I love that no assembly is required. They arrived in great condition. I ended up not keeping them because they didn't quite look right in my kitchen, but I still really liked the style and overall value for money.
