Silver Finish Left-handled Fingerprint Door Lock

The lock and door handle look good. The finfer print reader doesn't work very well. For some people it works always, for others, it never works

My wife having some hearing impairment, nothing more suit us than this product. It's really easy to instal and friendy user.

I will update my review after we install these 2. They look nice, I would have preferred a little less bulk on the top. Also, these are for INTERIOR use. It does not have a deadbolt. I would rather have one with a deadbolt, but it's not available. Other thing to consider is the height of the whole unit. For example if I wanted to buy an additional Deadbolt to put above this lock, I could not use a standard door with 2 holes drilled the standard 5 1/2" between centers. this lock is too tall and would block part of the upper hole that you need for your deadbolt. But if you have a BLANK door, then it's not a problem, drill 2 holes farther apart.

I bought 3 of these locks and have had the lock in place for about 2 weeks now. They seem to be working well. The lock feels well built and looks very professional when installed. The instructions on changing the master code do not seem to work. I tried on all three locks and was unable to get the final success beep. What is worse is that neither the new master code nor the original master code seem to work after that and the lick has to be reset which involves taking the lock off of the door again. Fortunately the instructions for changing user codes works for the master code as well. A few days after buying this lock a black hat video demonstration showing a similar biometric lock being opened with a paper clip was released. This lock does not appear to be affected by that flaw though the key tumblers are not the most secure.
