Not good for Reading!
This light has a very nice appearance,and is made well,but it does not give off enough light to be sold as a reading lamp.If you need an accent light, I would highly recommend this product. But if you need a light for reading, you should keep looking.

Sleek-looking Light
This was a little difficult to assemble. The directions weren't super clear. There were references to "arrows" on the product instructions that didn't exist on the parts, so I wasn't sure which way to assemble some things. Once I got this together, though, it turned out to be a great lamp. It's nice and bright for reading and does not light more than needed for a book, so it won't disturb your partner. It looks great on the wall--very chic.I think this is maybe $20 too much for what it's worth, and the light bulbs easily fall out if you're not careful.Overall, I'm happy with this lamp. It has excellent design and lighting qualities.

Not very bright
This just doesn't project very much light. I wanted more light for my work area which is in a basement with only small high windows for natural light. This lamp did very little for me so I'm returning it to spend the money on something brigher.
