Silk Stripe Window Valance

I received the valances in a timely manner. Unfortunately one of the valances was not finished at the top for the curtain rod. Fortunately my Mother is a seamstress and was able to finish it off perfectly. Overall these are beautiful and I am pleased.

The fabric is so rich looking! I had to order 2 additional panels. Although the valance is very large (86") compared to other panels, a whole new richness is achieved if you use 3 times the window width rather than 2. They hang beautifully and look very expensive.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Very close. "Black" was the color selected and really don't see much black in them but it was close enough to work.

The colors are rich and the lined silk material is very fine. The valences are perfect for my use and exactly as I expected from the picture and description. Of the 6 pieces ordered (and received) 4 were perfectly matched by stripe; 2 would match only if the curtain were hung upside down. With the rod pocket sewn at the top, of course, that is impossible. The "upside down" curtains are separated from the others, and it's not noticeable, but it could be a problem for some.
