So comfy and luxurious-great deal!

I love this comforter and I'm so happy I bought it! This comforter is well made. For those who've never had a silk comforter, they aren't puffy like down but instead flat so they drape nicely on the bed. Although lightweight, it's warm but still comfortable in the warm southern summers. I put a 320tc duvet cover on mine and I love how the comforter drapes on me. Feels very luxurious-as soft as down, only lighter and allergy free since silk is naturally dust mite resistant. I recommend using a duvet with this since it's dryclean only but with proper care you shouldn't have to do that but every 5-10 years. This is a bargain price, too! BTW, fill weight wasn't listed on overstock's website but the package says full/queen is 40oz and king is 50oz which is equal to other silk comforters I looked at at much higher prices. Very happy with my purchase!

I love this blanket. It's good quality construction, and a good value for the money. The silk is great. As somebody else noted, however, the queen is 40oz and the king is 50oz. This is rather lightweight--even lighter than the "summer weight" silk filled comforters I've seen on other sites. One blanket is too light, even for May in San Francisco. I just received the second one, and the weight of two is perfect. Perhaps a bit heavy for summer, but will do nicely for year-round in San Francisco, with nights without heat in the 30s-50s.I love that this blanket eliminates the shifting down problem so I never have to fluff it up. I love its weight, also (two of them together, that is). However, the second blanket I received had somewhat uneven distribution of filling. One side is markedly thinner than the other, sadly. In the end, though, grab 'em while you can!
I love this comforter. It's warm and thin so it won't make the bed bulky. It's a good alternative to down because it gives them same warmth without the allergies. The biggest difference is that it's much heavier than down.
I have been looking for a warm comforter for a long time. I get frustrated with shifting down, so thought I would try the silk comforter. It is thinner than a down comforter, but very dense. It keeps me toasty warn, and doesn't shift al all. The only downside to this comforter is the weight. It is heavy. It will be a great winter comforter, but is too warm for summer, in California.
My husband and I were dealing with a down comforter that migrated to the bottom of the bed. I heard such great things about this comforter that we purchased it. The silk is healthful and stays in place and it is surprisingly warm and wonderful. We love it and have already recommended it to friends. Thanks again, Overstock!
