Silk Biggy Style Bamboo 7-foot Tree

This tree looks good now, after I superglued the leaves back on. True to the season, this tree arrived in November, quickly after I ordered it, with the leaves falling off. Many of the leaves were merely laying on the tree in the box and others would fall off as soon as I touched them. At least 100 leaves were not well attached. Now that I have repaired the tree it does look good. It was more work than I anticipated. The pot at the bottom isn't pretty but I knew that when I ordered it. I love Overstock and have ordered many items. This is the first disappointment I have experienced.

The tree is not as high quality as I expected. When I opened the box, there must have been at least 50 detached leaves for me to try and re-attach (still have about 10 that won't re-attach or can't figure out where they belong). All in all the tree looks very nice, but I didn't expect to have the "assembly" time associated with it. Since I've only had a few days, not sure how long the leaves with stay re-attached or if they will start falling again if the tree is touched.

Bought this for a contemporary office, to use in the empty space behind an angled-from-the-wall sofa arrangement. It's plenty big, with tons of leaves - took me quite a while to fluff them all. There was also a slight odor that went away within a few days. It's a great low-maintenance option, just don't expect something light and airy, this piece is very full!
