This is the first time I've ever owned a down comforter so I did a lot of research prior to buying. You just cannot beat the price of this comforter for the fill power and thread count that you get. The comforter took about two days to fully fluff up, but is now an absolute dream to sleep with. The baffle stitching allows me to go several days without having to re-fluff the comforter. And although it feels heavy, it's not too warm to use in the fall or spring. I purchased the King-Oversized model for my Queen pillowtop mattress and it's a perfect fit.
I LOVE this comforter....wish I had purchased it years ago for the freezing, cold New England winters. Warm, not bulky or heavy, it makes you want to stay in bed.
You absolutely cannot go wrong purchasing this exquisite comforter. It is extremely light and yet very warm. The fabric is luxurious and it fits my oversize queen bed perfectly. Last year I purchased an Eddie Bauer comforter from Overstock and although it was warm, it was very heavy. This year I decided change to something not quite so heavy and this was perfect. The down does not shift and the construction is box-like around the edges, giving it a rich appearance. There was only the faintest odor when I opened the packaging and that dissipated within minutes. When it arrived I thought it was too small and flat to be a comforter, but as soon as it was on the bed it fluffed up beautifully and is just perfect. Bring the cold winter months on!
I am not disappointed at all with this new comforter. I've had it on the bed for a few weeks, and it is warm and puffy. Right now because it isn't ultra freezing out in MI, it can be a bit warm though. I purchased the king size for my queen bed since our old queen down comforter didn't come close to cover the sides of the mattress, and I hated looking at the sheets hanging out. This one is generously sized, especially for my queen, and well covers the sides. I think this may make it even warmer, because the sides are longer and heavier. In order to watch TV sometimes I have to de-puff a section to see the TV is it so puffy- very nice. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and I would recommend this comforter to anyone.
Very classy for the money. The comforter exceeds our expectations. It's light and fluffy, yet cuddly, cozy and warm. It looks so beautiful on the bed, we wouldn't even have to use a bedspread. After it was fluffed out, there was no need for ironing or other extra care. The appearance is genuinely striking.We spent a lot more money on a queen size comforter a couple of years ago. This King is far superior at a very affordable cost. We love to feel classy. This product gets us there. We definitely recommend this for anyone looking for warmth when the bedroom temperature is down low for energy efficiency. We live in Minnesota and it's perfect!
