Good Buy!!!
I have ordered numerous curtain panels from overstock though out the years. I just received these yesterday. I am very happy with the quality of the panels. They block all light as stated. The only thing I would say is that they are would be considered more microfiber than velvet material. There are also nice weights in the bottom hem to keep them in place. I am always redecorating my house and could imagine these being useful in any room, they are currently in my bedroom...for now.

I love my new curtains. My room is completely dark when the curtains are closed. My only complaint is that I ordered two panels to hang on a single window. I could have used just one, and it still would have worked well. User error. :-) Would definitely purchase again in the future.

Not what I expected and I returned these
These drapes are not velvet in any way shape or form. They are actually polyester microsuede where if you look at them you can see the weft threads. This material is more like the stuff bathrobes used to be made from so I returned these. Aside from the lack of quality of the material they are lined, heavy, etc. but the material for me was unacceptable.
