I purchased 10 of these panels to frame huge windows in a 30 foot room and was nervous about the color b/c of prior reviews. I was stunned at the panels that arrived. They are the thickest, highest quality silk curtains I have ever seen. My box weighed 65 pounds upon arrival! The color is a silvery gray with barely blue nubby silk flecks when they are in direct sunlight. Then, in room light, they take on a dark warm taupe. Because of this unique play on the irridecence, they can match many color schemes. I put them onto iron 1 inch rods behind vinage cigar leather and antique industrial reclaimed wood furniture. If I had purchased these anywhere else, these windows would have cost me $3-4,000. Thanks to Overstock, I had to pick up that Hunter 1886 replica ceiling fan as an accent too! Thank you Overstock for offering such high-end items.

These drapery panels are beautiful! They look very expensive. and custom made. The workmanship is superb. A very thick lining and inner lining allow the panels to hang beautifully. The color is also pretty and the silk has an irredescense about it.

This is the best purchase that I've made on this site!!! The quality and look of these drapes is unbelievable, and the price cannot be beat!!!

These curtains are absolutely beautiful but there is one problem--they are not pewter! They are more like a metallic chocolate brown. They also have a yellowish tint with sunlight streaming through. Such a shame that the color listed is wrong. Buy these only if you don't want a silver color.

These panels are gorgeous. They have a slight bit of blue when the sun hits them, but otherwise a beautiful silver. They very much exceeded my expectations. They do need a heavy duty rod and curtain pins.

I just got these panels and could not wait to hang them up. I was concerned with the color and the irradescence, but they seem to take on the same hue as the wall paint along with the pewter color. The panels look very elegant and expensive, they warm my room and make it look so rich. The price is unbelievable in comparison to what I have seen at retail stores for panels of the same material with a lining......I absolutely love these and would recommend them to anyone. I hung mine on rings to get extra length and the rich look! They are rather heavy so you will need strong hardware.

I was under the impression that "pewter" was a shade of silver. However, these curtains are pinkish coffee brown with a metallic sheen. Dark taupe perhaps? I would never have called these pewter. Other than that, these live up to their reviews. They look superbly custom made with a very dense and hefty feel. Amazing quality for the price. I'm sad to return them.

These curtains are not only incredibly well constructed but beautiful as well. I ordered two different colors to ensure that I could find the correct match. For these Pewter panels the color was just as it appeared. I have 11 foot ceilings in a 100+ year old home and these curtains suit both the subtle elegance and drafty-ness of the windows. They are very heavy so make sure that your curtain rods are suitable. I had Taffeta thermal curtains on the windows before but these are far superior. I had those curtains on rings and the signature silk panel was too heavy to be on those alone. They do not come with the curtain pins indicated in the video or any tieback whatsoever. For the price these are a bargain. I shopped at Bed Bath and Beyond and the closest they had was a silk panel priced at over $137.00 for an inferior product. I remember shopping with my husband before we were married and $100.00 per panel for curtains seemed pricey. Not for these curtains. Well made. I have never been so pleased with an online purchase and immediately ordered 7 more panels.
