First of all, the panels are exquisitely made. Tailored to perfection. Nice weight lining and interlining. They look and feel quite expensive. I took the coffee color and it looked really rich and elegant. Now for the problem I had¿. The description says ¿finished width is 50 inches¿ and ¿drapery hook belt attached¿. For some reason I interpreted that to mean that at a finished width of 50 inches the drapery was pleated and ready for hooks, like the Wellington panels also advertised on the website. Not so. Each panel fell a little shy of the 50 inches, and was plain, as in no pleating whatsoever. It has a rod pocket, but the drapery belt that is attached is not at all substantial (thin elasticized material) and I can¿t even imagine how it is supposed to work with the weight of the curtains. If you are thinking to put two panels (approx. 100 inches wide) at a window that is 75 inches wide, think again. By the time you gather them a bit (after all curtains are not hung flat out), you are going to find that you¿ll need 3-4 panels. If they were pleated, two panels would be fine. Since I can¿t afford to buy more panels I am sending them back.
I've bought several of the signature taffeta drapes, I just bought the coffee ones. Very nice, iron up and hang nicely. I've fixed mine on wooden rods with drapery rings which I think gives the drapery a nice elegant look. I paired the coffee up with the cream color ones and they look stunning together. Don't hesitate to buy them - well worth the money.
They turned out great. I had initially bought the coffee color(46x84), two turned out shorter than indicated and there were orange streaks on them. Sent them back and got my refund on time. Went ahead and got the forest green (46x96) to compensate for any issues with the length. Turned out good, and had fewer discolorations. The price was great compared to other stores.
They look even better than on the pictures, great value for the money
