I love these panels!! I have had such trouble finding good quality silk panels for a reasonable price and now I've found them. I'm so happy with them that I ordered more (in Pearl) for my dining room. I wish they came in wider widths as they look skimply on my very large window but great on my smaller windows (and they measure 49--not 50 inches). But I like them so much, I ordered two extra panels to add to my large windows. The color is gorgeous! A taupe that looks silvery and shimmery in certain lights. I had purchased silk panels claiming to be just like these from Pottery Barn but they were terrible quality and so I returned them. These are thick and fall beautifully. They truly do look like custom made curtains at about 25% of the price.Read More
These curtains are truly amazing. The color, texture, weight...everything far exceeded any expectation that i had. They are heavy enough, and lined, so that when closed, they provide excellent coverage . They really complete my bedroom, and give it such an opulent finish. I am so pleased with this purchase.Read More
Curtains are very well made but heavy due to the double lining. Required much ironing due to the packaging but was able to iron face side up without damaging the fabric. They look much better once hung but do have variations in the color. I would describe the color as an olive green nothing close to how it appeared on my monitor. I had to hang using clips as they would not fit on my 3" curtain rod. I am keeping them as it is hard to find 124" only wish could have ordered color swatches first. I have since found the exact same panels for sale in a fabric store for the same price. Very nice look just disappointed wit color. Arrived in only 3 days!Read More
The color is just like in the picture: very elegant, neutral but still stands out. Color is neutral enough to look good on any background. The fabric is very good quality. They look like **** curtains. They totally block out the sun. They are very, very nice and elegant.Read More
beautiful color. they are lined and are just wonderful! i get so many compliments because of the way the light ever so slightly catches the threading of the silk. just cant find faux silk in this color.Read More
I have purchased several panels in varying fabrics from the company that manufactures these drapes and I have always been pleased w/ them. These panels are very elegant with the beautiful sheen all dupioni possesses. The silk is a good weight, not thin. The interlining is adequate. The lining lies on the drape and does not puff out. It is a very bright slightly off white lining, not beige. The weight is excellent. If you are looking for a quality interlined drape you would expect the weight and be disappointed if the panel was light. The color is not as light as in the picture. There is a lot of sheen coming off of the silk which makes them look lighter. In duller light they almost look like a deep kaki. In brighter light a medium taupe. They fall beautifully and are equal to custom drapes. These panels are an excellent value.Read More

These drapes are beautiful! Quality fabric and workmanship. They were less than 1/2 the price of having them custom made. My only caution is that you buy all the panels you need at the same time.I bought 10 panels and then decided on an 11th for a hallway window. The 11th panel was a slightly different color. If I had to put it on a window w/ one of the original panels it would have looked off-color. But as a covering for the window down the hall it was fine. Overall, one of the best values on Overstock!Read More
Bought these to go in my living room with dove gray walls and lots of warm and cool neutrals. They're perfect. And the few wrinkles caused by shipping hung out practically overnight. These were an excellent buy.Read More
These drapes are simply gorgeous. I just painted my LR (Indian River by Benjamin Moore) a medium taupe/grey. These curtains are a perfect compliment! They are really amazing. Color is dead-on what I was looking for! Have read some of the other reviews re: color. And I think these drapes are neutral enough to work with a wide range of colors -- but I would call them "Mushroom". In my opinion, they lean more toward taupe/brown than golden. Not cheap but worth every penny.Read More

How to Hang a Valance and Curtains
Hanging a valance and curtains over your window will add dimension, texture and style to any room. Window curtains with a valance give your window treatments a finished, designer look. If you want to block out light, a valance and full-length blackout panel curtain is your best choice. If you are more interested in decoration and only need to block minimal light, then a valance over sheer curtains is a good choice. It's important to measure the window and decide what type of curtains you want before you buy the curtain hardware. A cafe rod will be sufficient to support a sheer curtain, but you will need a stronger curtain rod to support heavier fabrics such as blackout panels. Also, the larger the window, the sturdier the curtain rod will need to be.

How to Adjust Tension Rods
Curtains are a great way to accent the decor in every room in the house. Tension rods, also called spring rods, are curtain hardware which allow you to hang window curtains, wall curtains or shower curtains without installing curtain rod hardware on the walls. If an existing tension rod slips or if you want to change the curtain panels or add curtain rings, you may need to remove and adjust the rod before putting it back in place. Tension rods are positioned between two facing surfaces, such as the interior frame of a window or the opposing sides of a shower cubicle.
How to Install Blackout Curtains
Blackout curtains can keep a room cool and dark even when it's bright and sunny outside. A completely dark room is a wonderful thing if you have a job that requires you to work all night or even if you just want a dark room for watching a movie when it's light outside. In addition, blackout window treatments help you conserve energy by keeping heat in and cold out or vice versa. You have two choices when it comes to installing blackout curtains: You can buy curtains that come with blackout liners already sewn in, or you can add panels of blackout fabric to the curtains you already own.
