THIS WAS PERFECT FOR MY HOME. WE HAVE AN ENTERTAINMENT ROOM THAT NEEDED SOME NEW FURNITURE. I ORDERED 2 SIESTA SAK'S AND THEY ARE PERFERCT. IT TOOK ONE BAG 7 DAYS TO BECOME COMFARTABLE AND THE OTHER ABOUT 10. IT IS VERY HARD TO WAIT FOR THE BAGS TO FILL OUT. THE WAIT IS WORTH IT!!! WHAT A GREAT WAY TO WATCH A MOVIE OR TAKE A NAP. THE FABRIC IS VERY SOFT AND THIS MAKES IT GREAT TO SIT ON. THE BAG HAS BEEN PEFECT TO THIS POINT IN TIME. IT IS HARD TO WAIT THE 7 AND 10 DAYS. MAN IT IS WORTH IT WHEN YOU WATCH A MOVIE IN THIS COMFORT. I FOUND THE BEST WAY TO OPEN THE BAG IS CUT THE DUFFEL. IT IS A HARD SQUARE OF FOAM FOR A FEW DAYS. AFTER THAT I JUST FLIPPED IT AND KICKED IT TO MAKE IT SOFT. IT TAKES TIME BUT IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!
My Husband and I call it the "sleep sack". Ye cant just sit in it Its too comfortable but heres what ye can expect. It comes in a big bulky denim like duffle bag. It is very heavy, We had to cut the duffle back off because it expands after it leaves the wearhouse. By the time it arrives at your home its tight. You must be patient for the "full expansion" to take place and yes it takes up alot of room. But my husband and I were looking for a comfort TV watching chair we could enjoy together and we really loves this. The cover is a delicate microfiber so use care when moving it. It truly beats buying a smaller bean bag at a fraction of the price. I cant tell ye how many times I woke up in the middle of the night on that sack lol. It is worth the money when you compare it to a bean bag "for two". I dont regreat the purchase
This Siesta Sak is unbelievably comfortable and the same as a Love Sac only 1/4 the price!! This is a must have for movie night at home.
I got this chair about 2 months ago. It came in a very heavy , highly compressed duffel bag about the size of an extra large pillow case. I had to carefully cut open the bag and the chair started to grow and kept on growng for over a week. We didn't move it out of the living room soon enough so that's where it remains. It's HUGE and basically a big, black, blob - but incredibly comfortable. The chair smelled funny when it was first opened and the material was solid wrinkles and felt strange and kind of sticky and the filling was very lumpy. But the smell, writnles, lumps and funny texture all went away after about 2 weeks. The grandkids all fought over who would sleep in it over Thanksgiving. It easliy holds 2 large teenagers, a big dog and 2 cats at the same time and is wonderful for napping and watching TV. It needs to be "fluffed up" periodically and moving it around and shaking it keeps the lumps out. It is rather ugly , but if you know what to expect and have the patience to wait for about 2 weeks for the chair to reach it's full size and the wrinkles and smell to go away it's really a great and very confortable chair. Just remember to open it up where you want it to stay
I ordered and received the Siesta Sak about 2 weeks ago. It looks nice but the filling is lumpy and I therefore would NOT recommend it to others. The Sak is very tightly compressed and arrives in a large duffle bag. It is necessary to either cut the duffle bag and risk puncturing the Sak or to spend at least 15/30 minutes struggling to get the Sak out of the duffle bag. As the description suggest, the Sak is very large although it is wide as well as long (another reason . The Sak should only be purchased for large rooms unless you are looking for something to dominate a small room. It should be noted that once the Sak is out of the duffle bag it is virtually impossible to compress it sufficiently to fit it back into the duffle and it's far to large to return it. My main problem with the Sak is that the filling is COARSELY shredded foam which means that you feel lumps of foam whenever you sit or lie on it. The instructions state that it will continue to expand over a five day period and this is true (it becomes larger and quite rotund). However, as much as the Sak expands, the lumps still remain. On the positive side, the cover is a soft microsuede and feels nice. To conclude, I would not recommend this product.
Be prepared, these are huge! And they weigh a ton, so the cheap shipping is a real steal. They come compacted and "puff up" after you unwrap them. The covers remove easily for washing, and are not a headache to put back on.
i hated this lounge bag. in fact, i gave it away shortly after i got it. it just looked like one big blob. if you want something for a kid's playroom or a basement, it would work. but it's too big and ugly for a living room where people will actually see it.
Product is great as soon as you can get it out of the bag, which is difficult, we had to cut it out of the bag.
so i really love my siesta sak! its so usefull and its pretty. i love sleeping on it and it can fit more than one person. its perfect for cuddling with your boyfriend or girlfriend
I loved it! It got here super soon.. the only thing i didn't like is i thought there could be just a little extra foam in it.. and some of the foam pieces were really big and uncomfortable but, i do really like it. and I would recommend it to friends.
I love my siesta sack, and its my main living room couch. Sure, its heavy, bulky, and looks like a giant bean bag. I mean, thats why you're buying it, aren't you? I'm not worried that I can't lift it over my head like some people lament. I can't lift my old couch easily either. Make no mistake, this isn't a chair, its a substitute couch. I suppose you could angle it against the wall and try to make it a chair, but why not just get a smaller one instead? My only issue is that its shredded (sometimes large pieces about fist size) furniture foam, not memory foam like in the other premium sacs that are sold here. It was a little disappointing when it arrived, but i rapidly got used to it, and I think it holds a better shape than the memory foam once you get up.
We bought two of these and one we have thrown out and the other is on it's way. They are HUGE and HEAVY! The fill is not like a bean bag, it doesn't mold easily and it is really uncofortable to sit on. The fabric catches everything and the color is pretty nasty. The one good thing I have to say about it is that my dog loved it after we dragged it outside onto the porch.
It was so heavy, I had to grag it down the stairs in the black bag, leaving a black trail mark on the carpet. It looks nice when up but always needs to be refluffed. It is well built. A fair value for the money.
We have had it for almost 2 years. The kids absolutely love it and we have gotten our moneys worth. However, like other buyers, our interior lining broke quickly therefore we're unable to wash the outer cover. And the outer cover, also like other customers, has bled into our carpet and left a huge pink stain. Might suggest tan!
This is the most comfortable piece of "furniture" in the house. DO HEED the warning to only open this lounger EXACTLY where you want to keep it as it rapidly expands and is difficult to move. Fortunately I did read the warnings and took it upstairs before opening - otherwise I never would have gotten it up the stairs...even with help! This is a great lounger and the price is a STEAL. My only regret is that I waited so long to finally get it!
I brought this for my 22 yearold son. He put it in his bedroom. He loves it. It's the perfect chair to play video games. It's takes up alot of room so be sure when ordering ! ours looks like a giant potato !!!
I bought ours over a year ago. We have 2 of these, 6ft and the 5ft. The only drawback is both of them, within weeks of getting them, the inner sac broke so now I cant take the covers off to wash. But they are great in every other way. Yes the big one is in our main living room and is quite ugly but the kids love it! One of my kids is Autistic and we use it to help with some of his sensory issues and needs. They LOVE for me to push one side of it up on the couch and they ROLL down it. So llike I said its big and ugly...cant wash the cover or we will have foam everywhere.. BUT IS A LOT OF FUN and a Good Value!!!
We ordered this bag without really realizing how large this thing gets. It comes in a small gunny sac, then once you cut that off it proceeds to grow and grow. Great material. Double bagged. A very fine product. Besides if you don't like it, would be impossible to rebag and return. It has now become the favorite seat in the whole house (dog included)
This bag is so heavy that 1. the UPS man dragged it to my door (ripping the outside so I had to reorder due to damage) then 2. I started to drag it into my living room to setup. I turned around and there was a large, black streak across my cream carpet. It wasn't dirt, it was the black (I ordered the black) coming off the material. I was mortified because we had just gotten our carpets cleaned that week. I'm sure I would love it but it's still in the original bag thrown in the basement because I'm frightened to set it up in case we get a huge mark on the carpet where it will sit.
It is comfortable however we must keep fluffing it back up as it becomes flat when used.
