I read all the reviews so when we got the showerhead we took out the flow restricter, however, we have a small water heater so we were running out of hot water too fast. So we put the flow restricter back in, but drilled a bigger hole in it, so that we still have excellent water pressure, amount of water, etc. while not running out of hot water. I absolutely love the showerhead, my fiance loves it as well just b/c he doesn't have to duck under a low shower head anymore. Would definitely recommend.

This shower head is great looking and I bought it to replace an old one just like this one. Unfortunately, there must have a major water flow restricter in it because the water just dripples out.

I only have the use of one arm and the flow on this shower head is not enough for me to wash and rinse my chin length hair and finish my shower before the hot water runs out. I also purchased this for my 2 children and their spouses, one liked and one complained of the low flow issue. I does look nice and the head is flexible for taller people. I had to put my old head back on.

Overall very satisfied with this purchase. Do not be affraid of the low price. Here is all you need to know: 1) Very low price (compared to $75-$300 shower heads at big box retailers) 2) High Quality (absolutely no leakes, random water streams, or water flow in the wrong direction) 3) Looks (clean look, but will probably deteriorate a little faster than more expensive brands). Grab 2 or 3 of these.

But test it out with the low flow washer in place before you take it out.I made the mistake of taking it out and it was just too much water. So I had to search the trash for the washer and put it back in.Kind of a pain and my fault entirely.Great product and would recommend it to anyone.Especially for the price.

We bought this shower head to replace the very old one we had in our shower. I was a little worried that the water pressure would be low as the head is small and has very small holes. I was wrong! As per other reviewers we took out the flow restricter and now I almost feel guilty about how much water comes out of this thing. Also, it was easy to install - it took my husband about 5 minutes.

I fretted over the many variations among the reviews I read, but I have to say that this fixture is more that adequate in terms of quality, performance, and efficiency. It is solid, well crafted, and secures handily to the shower pipe. The size of the head is not a problem; the gentle, generous flow soaks us all over. I did remove the low-flow washer, but nonetheless, there is no problem with running low on hot water. A good bargain.

I was a bit skeptical about this product because of the low price. But after reading the positive reviews I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I bought it because my boyfriend and I both love it. I highly recommend it; it's a great product at a very low price. I've seen similar ones at home improvement stores that are priced from $100 to over $200. Those might be bigger and better, but I'm very happy with this one. Note about the the little plastic ring: I left it in when I first installed it, and a loud annoying sound came from the pipes when I turned on the water. The flow wasn't very strong either. After removing the ring, the pressure was great and there were no more noises.

I did as the above post mentioned and removed the "constrictor", which is the little white disk inside that only allows a small amount of water through. Well instead of a gentle rain, its a tropical downpour!.. but really nice. I don't feel I have a ton of water pressure but adequate at my house. I'm concerned I will use too much water, since I take about 15 minute showers as I shave too. Rather than enlarging the hole and trying to remount and dismount to adjust again till I get it right, I'm going to get a nice chrome turn on/off valve at the hardware, that way I can totally adjust the flow I have. Its true I could just modulate the handle, but thats inconveinent as I'm used to just turning it on full blast. At least this way I can fine tune it over then next few showers as to how I like it. Besides, sometimes in the summer my pressure drops quite low as many people are watering thier lawns, this will give me control. Awesome product for the money.. no leaks, everything works perfect! Another interesting observation, although it dumps tons of water, when you turn it off, the head remains perfectly dry just like the polished chrome it is! I like that as it will not build up nasty discoloration and corrosion over time. I may have to get one for my other shower, I recommended one for my dad too!

We really like the showerhead. We do not have the restricter on it at the moment as my better half is going to make the hole slightly bigger. It's not quite enough flow (for us) with it and a little too much with it so enlarging the whole should be just right. It is much smaller than I expected, but still does a great job. Although the water flow is plentiful without the restricter, we have not run low or out of water. I am glad that I purchased it and got such a great deal with FREE shipping (LOVE free shipping-Thanks Overstock!). I would happily recommend this product to others.

This Shower head is high quality. The construction and materials are fantastic. However, I would like to see more water flow from it.

The picture was a little deceptive in the overall size. I expected the head to be larger. However, after installation, I have to say this is the finest shower head I have ever owned. It creates a great shower, and I highly recomend it to anyone. I also removed the low flow disc before installing, and could not be more satisfied. Great product.

I wanted showerheads that were not expensive, but not plastic. These fit the bill. The water distribution is even over the head. These are not low flow heads so I installed valves that reduce water consumption by opening or closing them. Even with the lower water pressure the water distribution was even over the head. I bought the stainless style and they are attractive. A Very good value if you have priced others.

Wide, full cascade of water flowing down even though we have low water pressure. Can't say enough good things about it. Easy, easy, easy to install (and I'm a girl). When I travel I get homesick for my Wonder From Down Under Shower Head!!

Very sturdy, installed easy. I used teflon tape and had no problems. It came with a special thin wrench to install the shower head since a normal adjustable wrench is too thick and will not fit on the shower head. To clarify where it says 12 settings, and many others have said this already, its actually 6 different functions, with an adjustable Low to High flow setting. so you get 6 settings on low, and the same 6 on high. i was not disappointed, it covers all the functions you will ever need. (1)mist, (2) pulsating, (3) pulsating/normal flow, (4) normal flow, (5) normal flow/high pressure, (6) high pressure. it is considered a "commercial" shower head. it comes in a small white box with no labeling or advertising. it has simple instructions as well. The instructions are basic enough for an average homeowner to install the shower head. You will need Teflon tape to make a proper seal between the shower head and existing pipe coming out of the wall. You can find it at any home improvement store. Do not use plumbers puddy, you have a chance of clogging up the shower head and ruining it. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and may buy a second for my other bathroom.

I was really excited about this showerhead, as I had read quite a few positive reviews. Unfortunately, after trying it out, I disagree. The material is nice enough, but the mechanics are cheap. You get what you pay for, in this regard. The water flow is low, even with the white valve removed. If you like standing under a rainfall, this might be the showerhead for you. If you like any water pressure, not so much. I do like the fact that you can maneuver the arm for height differential. Overall, I give it 3 stars. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but it beats the standard builder quality showerhead. I'm going to keep it but move it over the guest bath.

No one in the house liked it. It is a very LOW flow shower head and does not remove the soap as well as a standard low flow shower head. As the primary shower head it is not a good choise.

not a low flow shower head --- works great. you actually can get your hair wet quickly --massager has good pressure too.

I love this showerhead! I was pleased to find the installation was quite simple to perform. I read reviews on this showerhead before I purchased and I am so glad I did so. I had concerns of low water pressure that would affect the "rainfall" effect but I simply removed the plastic disc that slows down the flow of water and I ended up with amazing water pressure. I love the versatility of the showerhead when it comes to height adjustment. The only thing I was disappointed about was the size of the showerhead. I was thinking the diameter of the showerhead would be at least 6 or 7 inches and not 3.5 inches. For a standard sized shower this little 3.5 inch showerhead was the perfect size. Any bigger than 3.5 inches the water would be hitting the shower curtain too much and the wall as well.

I installed it today at a cabin with low water pressure. Then I took a shower. It works very well, especially relative to the rather expensive showerhead that it replaced. I did take the white disc out because the water pressure and flow are overall better without it, but that was my circumstance. It's nice to have the disc to address different situations.
Low-flow showerheads conserve water while still giving the feel of standard or high-pressure shower heads. In the past, low-flow showerheads did not produce very good water pressure, making for a poor shower experience. These days, low-flow showerheads are just as good as standard or high-pressure showerheads, and they help to conserve water, too. They are becoming more popular due to better design and operation. There are even local governments in some areas that are requiring low-pressure shower heads or are helping residents to acquire them. The following are some frequently asked questions about low-flow showerheads.
