Overall, very pleased. The low-flow shower head that comes with it is very basic. It lasted only for my wife's first shower; then I replaced it with a Delta shower head that actually delivers a good shower. In addition there were 2 things that I was not aware of. The diverter is on the wall - with our old faucet the diverter was on the faucet. This required a plumber to make the adaptation to the plumbing and put a new hole in the tub to accommodate the diverter. The second issue is that this kit does not contain the trim for the drain or the overflow plate so I currently have the chrome drain and overflow plate which don't match the new faucet hardware. This required another couple of trips to the hardware/plumbing supply store, another visit by the plumber, and additional expense that I hadn't anticipated. Still, much better than the old, outdated hardware that we replaced and the quality seems to be good.

Get a price from a pro about building you a shower pan- mud, vapor barriers, drain etc. Because in my case the professional was less expensive. These pans would be great if they were half the price. Otherwise, why would you do this work when a pro can build you a leakproof shower floor with a center drain?

Purchased this 3 handle set for a bathroom Reno I was completing on my own. I'm no certified plumber, but I felt I was handy enough to install this by myself. First the end section of handle has to be screwed into the knob on the side, every so often they have to be tightened. You can probably avoid this by using Teflon tape or pipe dope...no big deal. Installed everything in Feb of this past year. Looks nice and did for quite a few months. Night before my wedding, a guest showered at my house and was a little too rough with the hot water handle. (I'm usually very delicate when turning them on or off) The slight over turn of the handle unscrewed the valve steam cover and before I knew it the sump-pump in our basement was running full speed to keep up with the flood that was coming from our upstairs bathroom. Had a plumber come out on an emergency basis to rescue us. Naturally, I thought the problem occurred when I put on my "plumber pants" and installed something that was way over my h...

I never attempted a project like this before. The shower arrived on time and in the parts came in perfect condition. Me and a friend set it up,and it really is a high quality shower. The door slides open and closed with precision, and it is very sturdy. I'm really glad I decided to do this.
