The appearance of this product looks great (until my dog ate two tiles-but I had two left over to fix it). The problem is in the design. It should be a GREAT DESIGN and easy to use. It's designed for quick, easy, snap together installation, which takes about 5 minutes to figure out. It snaps together by overlapping "hooks and eyes." The problem is the manufacture of the "eyes" which interlock everything are TOO SHORT-SO THE "GRAB" of the "eyes" doesn't work correctly-some are long enough, most aren't-so the interlock is NOT tight. If this manufacturing problem was corrected so that the pieces actually held together properly-I would say this is a fabulous, super value product

I settled for these because of price:value. I really wanted bigger tiles but everything was too expensive. Very easy to put together--I put mine as a transition from slate patio to ground. I had to put sand to level the ground first and it's also a good idea to use more sand to fill in the slates once you've laid it so it doesn't move. The sand kinda acts like grout.It looks great

Got these for my balcony which is exposed to the elements. I'll put out in the warmer weather. I did some assembling and disassembling and it was easy. I bought some stuff to finish the wood to protect it from the weather and will paint that on when the weather is warmed. I'm happy with the purchase. They are just right for me.

These wooden slates are a great idea,but did not work well for me.I laid this over a concrete patio.The patio was not in the best of condition, I leveled it out with construction sand. I had a horrible time getting the plastic underside to snap together.I would not buy these again until they come up with a more stable and strong plastic that is easy to snap together and stay together.

These have been installed for two years now in an outdoor shower in a challenging climate and are holding up well.

I bought these tiles in March of 2010 for my NYC terrace which is totally exposed to the elements. The tiles have faded due to sun exposure but still look great. A couple of tiles have warped abit but nothing to really complain about....I am waiting to see how they fare over the winter...but so far I'm very satisfied and they really make my deck look so much more inviting.

these are not for outdoor use. the backing dried up and fell apart and the wood part cracked. didn't even last one month outside

We ordered a large number of these teak tiles; they installed as advertised very easy and looked great for about a month. I was worried about the wind but they held firm even with 60 mph gusts. They are sold as ?outdoor? tiles, but the finish faded quickly on the tiles exposed to the sun, now the individual slats are starting to warp. They have been installed less than 60 days over a concrete patio with good drainage. There were no care instructions included with the package. I was checking to see if they are returnable and it says they are not. I did not expect them to stay new forever, but to have them fail this soon is disappointing to say the least. I would not purchase them again and don?t recommend them to be installed outside. Perhaps if it was a covered area protected from the elements.

I love these tiles - they really spruce up a very tired looking apartment balcony. They are easily installed and make a huge difference in the look of the space. I hope they are back in stock soon so that I can purchase more.

I bought 6 boxes to start to cover up a old damaged concrete patio. It looked great and I bought 7 more boxes. It does work on uneven patios but you need to use a rubber mallet to get the tiles to click together. I have a half circle patio so I used small river stones to fill in on the old patio where I did not place tiles. I hope it comes back in stock because I want to buy more for a barbeque area.

Product is somewhat easy to install; does take some time but finished product is worth it.

Great finish, easy to put together and adds another level of aesthetics to your patio. Glad I purchased them before they ran out of product on Overstock.

Love this as an option to cover my back porch. As previous ratings stated, the tiles don't perfectly articulate all the time, but it made no difference in how the final product looked. Time will tell how it holds up to more foot traffic.

All 6 boxes of tiles were delivered very promptly to our garage door. I moved everything inside since it was so cold out, and opened one box to see the tiles - beautiful and just like the pictures. I will provide a more detailed review once the weather warms up, and actually open the boxes to build this new tile flooring! I am optimistic it will be great, hence the 5 stars.

I got the 5-slat version of this product and transformed our city highrise balcony from formerly covered with UGLY green astroturf to a gorgeous space that was like adding a second (144 sf) room. I couldn't stop looking at it and it could not have been easier to install. I am getting more for our house on the Bay's balconies.

Other then the color being more red then tan, this is a great product. I've ordered more to expand the area. Everyone one who sees it just marvels at how rich and beautiful it looks. I used the deck tile to overlay cement. I am so pleased.

l am very impressed with how my deck looks. Everyone that has seen it wanted to know who built it for me. When I tell them I snapped them together their jaws drop. I have been wanting to do this for years because of cracked concrete and soil stains. It looks wonderful, feels wonderful and I am inspired to eat outside, have coffee in the mornings and cocktails in the evening.

I use the tiles in our shower (flat surface). They are the only product I have found that does not slip or get moldy, and they are easy to rinse off. They snap together and for the most part, stay together very well.

Good product with low price but high quality. It is great!

I am pleased with it quality and use if it. The surface is smooth and easy to clean. It is also suitable for wet or dry environment. Time of ship is very quick.
