Heavy gauge steel. Real rubber wheels. This thing turns heads man! Instructions are a tad hard to follow. Here is a tip, move your OLD shopping cart near you when you assemble this. Look at the instruction that come with your order, then look at that section of you OLD chart. The rest is cake. PS: If you don't need the old cart anymore, please don’t just throw it in the garbage, give it away or put it where someone who needs it will find it.

This cart was extremely difficult to assemble. The short instructions are not helpful at all. Took 2 people to try and put together and still not right. Previously bought the steel cart which was more expensive BUT definitely better than this one. Very dissapointed but will keep as much to heavy to send back.

Don't hesistate, buy this now. I bought this for a neighbor that is overwhelmed with laundry and groceries and has some physical issues. She told me this is the BEST present anyone ever gave her. She can carry all her groceries in one trip, or 3 or more loads of laundry. This is made to last, heavy gauge steel and solid wheels. Already she had customers in stores ask her WHERE she got it and want one right away. I'm getting one for myself. You just can't do better than this for the price, worth easily 2 times the cost. But the overall value is in the cart itself. One person called it a "Tank". They were right on.

We live in a city and walk to our grocery store. We purchased this cart approximately 5 months ago to help us carry heavy items, such as soda cases, beer, large quantities of wine, and those days when you buy milk and juice and laundry detergent. The cart has been really awesome! We use it when there are super sales on soda (like 4 cases for $10!) which we always struggled with before. We use this cart nearly every week, and it has easily carried a case of wine and a case of beer along with our other groceries - all at the same time. The assembly directions are really terrible, and one of the steel pins fell out on the second use. We went to the local hardware store, replaced the pins and have had no problems since then. This cart has been pretty awesome, and it is significantly cheaper on Overstock than smaller carts at Bed Bath & Beyond and our local hardware store. Given the minor caveats regarding assembly and parts - I definitely recommend this cart to anyone that likes to buy relatively heavy stuff, or anyone that lives in a city and would like to actually take advantage of the sweet sales on soda or other similarly heavy/awkward items.
