Very Convenient!
from Costa Mesa, CA,  Jun 18, 2008

I use the Portable Steamer any chance I get. It's relatively easy to set up and I personally hate to iron! I like how it also goes over buttons and beading without harming the quality. Great item and good price on top of that!

Love it!
 Mar 28, 2009

I love this steamer. Read some of the past reviews but the item works fine for me. Easier and faster than ironing; some dripping but that's because of the steam (duh), so it's not really a problem. Because of this little wonder I'm seeing a whole lot of potential for my wardrobe since I'm usually to lazy to get out the iron, instead now I use the steamer and 1 2 3 voila! Wear a shirt I would usually let hang in the closet b/c it's too wrinkly to wear.

cute, handy and easy to use
from New York,  Oct 29, 2008

I love this steamer. It's small and easy to handle. It did great job on some very wrinkled thermal curtains in my office suite. My co-worker removed them from the rods and tried to iron them but they still looked awful. It only took a few minutes with the steamer and they came out great. The only caveat is that it can only hold enough water for a max of 10 minutes, then you have to let it cool before you can refill it. I still gave it 5 stars because if it held more water, it would be heavy and bulky to use. It's really perfect for small jobs.

Portable Steamer
 from ca,  Aug 30, 2008

I use this Steamer almost daily. I love it! It's so handy to be able to leave my clothes on the hanger and steam the wrinkles out of them. It's much more convenient than using an iron and ironing board, although, on occasion, I need to use the iron on light weight cotton and silk blouses.

We tested this and other products on some fabric graphics and the Shift 3 steamer came out way ahead. I have recommended this steamer for use to our customers.

A good purchase
from Seattle, WA,  Jul 6, 2008

I bought the steamer for a occasional use to remove wrinkles for silk and brocade clothing. It worked well enough. Design is simple and straight-forward, visible water level is convenient. Construction is solid and adequate for infrequent use. A good value.

Great product...easy to use.
from San Antonio, TX,  Jun 26, 2008

I love to steam my clothes to freshen them and knock out wrinkles. I have used two other different models then I discovered this one. It is the best by far. Clothes look good, smell good and with little effort.

Fire Hazard
from Dallas / Fort Worth,  Mar 8, 2010

If you have one of these steamers, please watch it closely. The other morning, I added water to my steamer and went in to brush my teeth while it was heating. When I came back to use it, I could smell something burning. I picked the device up and looked and saw that my ironing board cover was smoldering. The bottom of the device had a burn spot that was sparking and had set my ironing board cover on fire. Had I left it for any longer, I am afraid it could have caused a flame. PLEASE watch this product closely - I think they should recall it.

YUCK
from New York, NY,  Jul 16, 2009

This was the worst product that I ever purchased. The first one that was sent to me was broken so I will not discuss that on. The new one that was not broken leaked water all over the place. It was a pain to use if you tip it forward just a little waster spills out. Basically I know ironing is lame and boring but it works better and in the long run it is faster, and will not leave water stains on everything.

Don't throw away your iron.
 from Pittsburgh,  Dec 29, 2008

A friend suggested a steamer as a practical alternative to ironing. It is not. You have to go over the clothes repeatedly to remove wrinkles, so its really not any faster, and although the wrinkles are decreased, they are difficult to completely eliminate. I'm glad I bought the steamer- its good for quick little things, but my dream of throwing away the iron has been thwarted.

dissappointed
from north brunswick, nj,  Dec 26, 2008

Got item for boyfriend who irons everything. He was so excited. Tried steamer that night on a thin dress shirt. NOT ONE WRINKLE REMOVED. It truly did not remove one wrinkle. It's back in the box and on it's way back.

somewhat satisfied customer
from San Diego, CA,  Dec 11, 2008

I was so excited to use this steamer because I've used a steamer before from my other job and enjoy steaming rather than ironing. I used it, and yes it was instant steam, but thing that was not good was that it can't even steam my work clothes. I was only able to steam my work pants faster than a shirt. We ran the steamer more than 7 times and it still was wrinkled which made me impatient. The item is alright to use, but it is not with all my expectations.

very satisfied
 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin+,  Nov 6, 2008

The product is very good. It is very easy to use and does a great job. Note: They want you to use distilled water instead of tap water. This gives less of chance for buildup problems in the future.

LOVE IT
 from California,  Oct 25, 2008

So easy to handle!!! Light weight so it doesn't hurt your wrist or arm. It works even on the most stubborn wrinkles and leaves your clothes fresh and clean. Overall, I LOVE it and the price is not bad at all.

My little steamer
from Elmont, NY,  Oct 18, 2008

This steamer ejects powerful steam, that starts up almost instantly. With that said, since the steam is so powerful, there is a little bit of drip but nothing excessive. It will definitely take more than 10 minutes to remove the most stubborn wrinkles, so one steam cycle won't be enough.

not bad
 from NJ,  Oct 16, 2008

It took out wrinkles out of my blouses/tops that are usually a Jersey material but it did not do well at all on my Sheers I have hanging up! I have to take them down & iron them anyway. But I like having it for the price.

perfect little steamer for touch ups
 from Michigan,  Oct 1, 2008

I keep this steamer in my closet and use it in the morning to freshen up a blouse, get a wrinkle out of pants, etc. so that my clothes look polished. It is very easy to use, starts steaming very quickly and is perfect for me...the busy career professional always in a rush!
