From "photos" I thought this might be a bit TOO much, but actually the product has a refined look, not over the top....seems to be of good quality, overall, for the cost, I'm very pleased.
I'TS A NICE COMFORTER SET THE COLORS ARE BEAUTIFUL. THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT IS IT SNAGS SO EASILY.
Not the quality I was expecting, but then I got it for a good price. I would have returned it, but took the tags off. Sorry, I wasn't pleased.
I absolutely looooove this set. Im not sure where the color issues are coming from with regard to the previous reviews because mine is a true burgundy and true gold color. No over-purple hueing. (Maybe they went back and checked out the dye and fixed it before i ordered mine :-) )It looks like i easily spent 200+ on this set. The pillows really set off everything. I was really happy about the accent pillows because trying to find throw pillows to the exact specification of the color scheme already there is often quite difficult.I purchased the Cali King set along with the 650 ct egyptian cotton sheets and the 3" gusset feather bed. (all from Overstock) I SWEAR im in Bed Heaven!i LOOOOVE Overstock!
I just received this comforter set and am very satisfied. The extras are a bonus. Just a word of caution..the color, which translates into burgundy or a deep red...it is not...it is a plum with more deep purple hues. Even though it wasn't the deep burgundy I wanted it worked with my mocha walls and chocolate curtains.It is a light comforter, which I like. I live in the mountains but one could always put heavy blankets underneath. For the price and the deep rich tones its a bargain.
