I was hooked by the unique look of this cabinet. The size was perfect for the new TV. I had read all the reviews and was thus prepared for the packaging with this product. It was well packed - in styrafoam which does crumble on impact. It took approximately 45 minutes to unpack, clean up with the vacuum and check parts, and approximately 45 minutes to put together. All parts were included and well labeled and the directions very clear. I would recommend it highly.

Love this piece, even though it came looking a bit darker and less "rugged" than shown in picture. Looks to me like a true walnut. Looked for something that was made with quality materials without costing an arm & leg, and we found it! (Check out the ** website and you'll see stuff looking very much like this for 3+ times as much!) I love the old time library card catalog look of the piece, but the convenience of it actually being storage doors. We fit a ton of stuff in there! And we can successfully keep our DVR, DVD, and VHS out of little fingers way and still use the remote control through the class. No regrets!

Our Sheridan Media Cabinet fits right into our new family room. There were a few little nicks and it is lighter than shown, but overall a great buy for the price.

This is a lovely piece. Very impressed with sturdiness. Assembled easily. My only disappointment is the size in relation to my TV. I didn't want a huge piece, but my TV dwarfs this. I considered the dimensions in the space I wanted to put it in, but not against the television. Taller would have been better. Will do for now - absolutely can't beat the price. I received it in TWO DAYS also.

cabinet was easy to put together and is adequate for my purpose, the doors are cute and have more character than is typical for a cabinet of this price. there were a couple of scratches that could be hidden with dark polish.

I was looking for a low-profile media cabinet that didn't look like my parents old-fashioned stereo cabinet from the 1970;s. The card-catalog style is a fun attention-grabber, and I like the round ball feet. The directions were easy- assembled in about 2 hours. The box and the piece of furniture was in perfect shape. It was shipped out the day after I ordered it and it arrived in New Mexico at my front door the following morning after it was shipped. A great experience!

Very happy about my purchase, I have looked on every website for a media consol, as well as at our local furniture stores. This was a little more traditional for my taste, but it's all what you accent w/! It honestly looks like something that you would see in a pottery barn magazine. It came in 3 days, which was awesome; and packed very well. I put this together myself, being 5'3", 105lbs and had absolutely no problems, it took maybe an hour, maybe; aside from cleanup of mess! Very sturdy peice of furniture, it is exactly like the picture. Either there are a lot of over priced products out there that are very similar or i just got a steal, way worth the ***!!

I bought this media center as a Christmas gift. I was so excited. It was beautiful and high quality for an excellent price. It took two of us less than an hour to put it together. The recipients loved it. I read a review that said that their satellite remote wouldn't work through the glass on the front. They haven't had any problems with their Dish receiver. I was also worried that it would be a little short with their 52 inch TV, but the TV doesn't overlap the edges at all. It fits perfectly. I can't say enough good things about Overstock. This was our first purchase from them and we are extremely satisfied.

I was looking for a new entertainment center and this one had the look I wanted. I had never ordered something like this online before and hesitated at first. But, the entertainment center had great reviews and I loved the look so ordered it. It came in a very short time (free shipping was great!) and my husband assembled it in about an hour. The cabinet is beautiful and I am very happy with it.

We were very pleased with the Sheridan Cabinet. The cabinet was exactly what we were expecting from the description with the exception that the wood was a little redder that we expected. I must say that the color does blend well with the other wood tones in our living room. We had no problems putting the cabinet together. the doors open and close easily. All our cable and other TV equipment are neatly tucked away inside this unit. I would recommend this cabinet.

This is a beautiful media cabinet! Just love the apothecary pulls. It is roomy enough to hold our video equipment, some DVDs and some board games. Perfect for our family room. There were a few damages on the piece, but we have covered them with furniture stain, and they are not significant. In all, a good value.

I love it, and another great purchase from "O". I looked at local retail store and could not touch a wood "furniture" quality media center for this price...even the pressed wood MDF stuff cost more. It came 5 days after I ordered it. The box was messed up. Our UPS driver is not the most careful person. I opened the box and everything was packed well so hubby and I pulled out the vacuum cleaner to keep up with the little pieces of static clinging Styrofoam pieces, and he assembled it in about a half hour. He did mention that the instructions were very well written. Our Blue Ray player and the wii fit into the glass doors area, and I stuffed about 350 DVD's behind the door. I left the Direct TV thing on the top as it does get warm. This is a very pretty piece and it fits fine under a 50 in plasma mounted above it. I would buy it again. I love it and it is real furniture, not a tv stand that would fall apart the fist time you move it.
