Looks just as amazing in my kitchen as it does in the picture. Easy to assemble, you need a screw driver of your own. The top back panel needs to slide on top of the bottom. However the top piece had some excess metal in the tube and a regular hammer won't fit in to flatten it. So I had to hammer it down from the top and ended up cracking the top knob a bit, but still looks GREAT!

Needed space for my plants to spend the winter. This baker's rack created the perfect spot. It is pleasant to look at and fits right into the decor. Used spare 8x8 ceramic tiles on the metal rack shelves to hold the pots.

I ordered this based on the size and look for my kitchen and this baker's rack exceeded my expectations. It was time-consuming to assemble, but the finished product is very sturdy. I have had this almost a year now and still love it! I also love how the baskets slide easily in and out almost like drawers and they are metal framed so I shouldn't ever have to worry about replacing them.

I had been eyeing this for a while but when I went to order a couple months back it was out of stock. Honestly I forgot about it but it popped again when I was perusing through the site. I jumped on it and I am glad I did. I have a small dining area and this fit nicely without taking up much floor space. Had to assemple which was 5 pieces plus shelves and it was pretty easy. I love the look of this and the shelves are sturdy. I probably wont put anything breakable on it because I have 3 sets of little hands that like to grab but I think in a different home those items would be fine. Great price too!

This baker's rack went together quite easily and doesn't have too many pieces. It's stylish yet simple. There is good space between shelves although it would be nice if at least one shelf was adjustable. It's sturdy enough to hold even my heaviest appliances, which is why I bought it, like my stand mixer and food processor. It is the extra shelving that I needed in my new RV. I'm quite satisfied with it.

Really like the slim appearance of this rack. But my kitchen aid mixer is too tall to fit on anything but the top shelf. And it is too heavy for that height. I am pleased with this purchase.

We love this baker's rack. Very nice metal frame (though not a heavy wrought iron, it is still handsome and quality). The wood is not flimsy by any means, and it went together well. We love having this displayed in our dining room. We specifically looked for something with wicker baskets, and this fits the bill. I will say its a little short compared to other bakers racks you used to be able to buy at a place like Walmart, but overall, it's great. We will hang a sign above it to fill in the space on top. We love it, can't stress that enough.

I loved the baker's rack I purchased, but the metal was bent in a couple places, so I'm not 100% satisfied with my purchase. I decided to put the whole piece together anyway... the rack actually rocked back and forth on the floor, but with the added weight of the microwave, it was steady. I had actually purchased this bakers rack from another website (same exact item) and returned it because the metal was bent very noticably... about 4 inches. I found it on Overstock.com and hoped it would be packed/shipped better, but it really wasn't. It wasn't in as bad of shape as the original one, so I put it together and decided to settle for it, instead of dealing with the hassle of trying to purchase a 3rd one that was actually shipped to me in perfect shape. This particular item really needs to be packed much better to protect the metal from being bent during shipping. All the pieces are jammed together with little to no protection. It's a shame my piece isn't in perfect condition, because it is beautiful otherwise. I will never purchase another similiar item like this on-line.

Love, love this product! The size, color, quality and style are everything I hoped for to cover an unsightly area on my patio. I filled the shelves with plants and it's beautiful.

I am very pleased with this baker's rack. I needed a compact piece for storage and display in a corner of my kitchen, and this fit the bill perfectly. It is quite well made and sturdy for the price -- nothing chintzy about it -- and it looks great. It was fairly simple to assemble, and all of the pieces arrived in excellent shape (which is always a worry for me when I order furniture over the web). The baskets that came with my baker's rack are more of a rusty red color instead of the brown shown in the photo, but they look great nonetheless. I wouldn't store anything heavy in them (I use them to store paper plates, dish towels and snacks). The metal shelves are sturdy, though I wish they were a little wider. All in all, it's a great value for the price and would work well with most any kitchen decor.

This is a high quality item. It's well constructed and sturdy and the metal was perfectly even so there was no wobble, which is can be a problem with metal items. There is very little to put together and can be done by one person.

Nice compact sturdy rack to fit a small space. It is being used for cookbooks and decor . The color is a nice charcoal gray with some sheen. Two shelves arrived defective (one was missing a hole and one had a bent slat). The manufacturer promptly sent replacements.

This bakers rack was just what I was looking for at a good price. It is a smaller design, built well and looks great. I searched for other racks and most were double the price or higher. I received the order faster than expected. Had one small problem in assembling, but by switching two of the shelves it went together fine. Easy assembly. I love it!

I was looking for a metal shelf unit for my kitchen. This item is beautiful and it was easy to assemble by myself. It is sturdy but not too heavy and I was able to move it easily. It looks great in my kitchen and offers extra storage. I am very happy with the baker's rack and Overstock.com.

This was really easy to put together by myself - took about 30 mins max - and is really sturdy. Each shelf holds a lot. Things I really like about it: there's enough distance between the bottom shelf and the floor to be able to easily vacuum underneath it; it's nice to look at but functional too; each shelf will easily hold a stack of pots and pans plus lids (you can use the shelves like a rack to hold the lids). One bad thing - dusting it!

Attractive looking product with the black sturdy metal frame, to the easy to assemble baskets. Assembly directions could have been much better for the solo assembler. Of course once together its like duh? A few assembly tips.... to get the screw holes on the wood top to line up with the metal frame, leave the metal frame screws a bit loose, until the top is aligned with the metal frame. The wood top squares the metal frame work and the holes under the wood top will align better. Secure wood top, make sure its square with the metal framework, then complete tightening the metal side screws to the wood top and bottom. Before assembling the front center supports, attach the rear center supports, then imagine you were attaching a shelf to the front and rear supports, make sure the shelf height is the same front and back. Also the bottom front support should have the shelf holes facing inward. I made a few mistakes but was easily corrected. Once together the shelves fit in tight, and the rattan baskets assembled easily. All the parts were present and accounted for. Better than expected.

This was great for our small Condo. Buyers should review the measurements as this is narrower than most bakers racks out there- we love that about it. The quality is beautiful and the instructions very simple. Everything lines up perfect and well made. We love how the shelves fold down when needed. Putting the shelves back up worry me as it rubs the sides and may chip the finish over time. I highly recommend this to everyone looking for a nice, strong and narrow bakers rack.

This is a very handsome baker's rack that (as others commented) is smaller in person than it appears in the photo -- just what I needed for my small kitchen. I really appreciated the exact measurements in the picture. The largest wooden shelf just fits my large microwave. It seems sturdy. It has a nice antique look to the metal. It would make a great decorative shelf anywhere in the home. I'm not very handy (I'm a city girl) but I was able to put it together by myself within a couple of hours. The instructions were very clear and well labeled. You will need your own screwdriver for the screws. It was well packaged and came without any damage or missing parts. Negatives: as others have commented, one of the wood shelves does not have the pre-drilled holes in the right place for the screws. I also wasn't able to get one of the baskets to come together as the screw/bolt for it would not pass through the pre-formed hole. I took off a star for these reasons. I wish the wood were a lighter color to match my kitchen cabinets. But the color of the wood seems nice

I received the wicker/metal chest within five days. It arrived in perfect condition. I did enlist the help of a friend in the assembly -- so it was finished within an hour. My kitchen is extremely small but had one rather long wall which is where I placed the chest. My concern was that it would take up too much space in depth, but that was not a problem. I definitely would recommend it to anyone who had need of extra storage space for items that are not too heavy, although it is well balanced.

I like this piece for its looks, but it's not as sturdy as I expected. The shelves are metal strips rather than solid shelving. The shelves on the item I received are a bit bent, so I'm not real comfortable putting anything heavy on them such as the canisters shown in the picture. The drawers are helpful for me, as I needed more linen space, however they don't slide in very smoothly. I don't expect this piece to last very long.

The metal tubing is more substantial than many shelving units in this price range. It was easy to assemble and the holes lined up quickly as shelves were screwed together. Im using it in a covered screened porch and it adds a lot of style!

Chances are you have a variety of bed frames in your home, whether you have kids beds, a queen bed frame, king bed frame, full-size bed, twin bed frame, storage bed, loft bed or a few canopy beds. It's not unusual for bookshelves to incorporate multiple materials for different features. If you haven't decided on wood, wood products, metal or glass bookshelves, look at their relative strengths and weaknesses. Look below to learn the best bookshelf materials. Wood: "Solid wood" is a common term for furniture made from lumber planks. Beware of making assumptions based on labels like "hardwood" and "softwood." Hardwoods are derived from deciduous trees and softwoods from coniferous trees; the terms don't connote their relative strengths. Balsa is a hardwood even though it is very soft, just as Douglas fir is a softwood even though it is very hard. They all make excellent, classic stock material for bookcases. Generally, harder woods are the heavier and more resistant to scratches. Still, softer woods, if treated correctly, will keep just as well as harder woods. Plywood: Made by stacking thin sheets -- "plies" -- of lumber and gluing them under pressure, plywood features grains that alternate direction for strength. Several grades are available, of differing cost. Top and bottom plies can be high-quality woods to create the appearance of fine woods, but edge veneer or molding is needed to complete the illusion. Particleboard: Wood chips glued together carry a much lower price tag than solid wood, and particleboard is denser and more uniform. It's a great choice when cost is the primary consideration. Bookshelves crafted from veneered composite boards can look and feel as good as real wood. MDF: Wood fibers, tiny chips and sawdust collected and glued into sheets form medium-density fiberboard (MDF). Low-cost MDF makes an excellent base for veneers; plus, its strength is consistent and it shapes well. Metal: There's a reason most library bookshelves are made from metal: Metal bookcases are resistant to moisture and fungus, their low-friction shelves are easier on books' bindings and metal's strength-to-weight ratio can't be beat. Their cost usually comes in below any other material. Glass: Glass bookshelves weigh more than other types, but if you plan on assembling your bookshelves only once, the style points can be well worth it. Tempered glass shelves (in wood or metal uprights, called "standards") give your home an unbeatable contemporary feel, and glass bookcases' smooth, transparent surfaces add brilliant levity to a decorating piece that might otherwise be notably opaque and heavy. Lately, television consoles, stands and storage racks have been exhibiting updated designs, sporting storage for your media essentials in models that are tastefully coordinated to the rest of your living room furniture. Compact TV stands and corner TV stands are convenient in smaller apartments, dorm rooms and offices, but even large homes can benefit from the clean look and discreet presence of a television stand. As more people upgrade to lean flat-panel televisions, they are seeing that the smaller size of a TV stand is all they need. The furniture industry usually reserves the term "entertainment center" for the largest TV furniture, big enough for the television, a cadre of audio or video components and a full CD-DVD collection. TV stands tend to be smaller than full entertainment centers while still having enough shelves for a few components and some media storage. For smaller homes or for smaller rooms in larger homes a stand may be all the TV furniture you need.
