Love this Vacuum - more than my dyson Animal
Well, I have a dyson animal, which is great - just big, bulky and heavy. I have two english bulldogs that shed everywhere - even with the furminator (love that too) - anyway we live in a 4 story townhouse with mostly wood floors - so carrying the dyson up and down the stairs to clean the stairs was a pain. The shark is fantastic for this. It really picks up dirt and dog hair. I love the lift away part with the stairs - it's perfect the cord is longer on the shark so you can get up a whole flight of stairs without re plugging in at the higher floor. I am glad I purchased the refurbished, because I wasn't sure and it was less expensive than a "new" - but new in every way, I wouldn't have been able to tell it wasn't brand new. The only issue at all is that if the floor is a little damp from anything (they drool also) - the vacuum won't pick up - so just make sure your floors are dry and it's good to go.. So Overall just a great vacuum for the price.

Best vacuum ever
I love this vacuum, It does a great job of cleaning bare floors and carpets. The swivel head is great and the vacuum is the perfect size to fit in the pesky corners. I couldn't believe how much dirt was on my floor after using this vacuum. I love the canister and the washable filter. Worth every penny.

Mama said not to buy this!
Mama said not to buy one because I'd be grossed out at the amount of dirt and dust it picks up. I'm a good homemaker, so I wasn't worried. Challenge accepted. Mama was right! We live in a 1600 sq. ft. condo and one pass through the house dumped about an inch of "yuck" in the canister! But...it was a snap to dump with the push of a button into the trash. Weeks later, it is still picking up a ridiculous amount of dirt that my Roomba has been leaving behind for the past year. The carpet also feels softer as I'm vacuuming, and that's a nice bonus. I know there are a lot of Dyson lovers out there (no disrespect to them), but this thing is a powerhouse (yet lightweight!) with a price that can't be beat! You might as well just stick it in your cart now!

Amazing vacuum!
I was looking for a new vacuum so I shopped around. I thought I would give the Shark vacuum a try and see how good it worked. I was absolutely impressed with the suction of the vacuum and how well it maneuvered. I used my old vacuum in my hallway then passed the Shark vacuum and it picked up more dirt than my original vacuum. I also love that it doesnt have a belt that makes the brush work. If you get caught up on a rug you simply turn it off then back on and the brush works again.

Very powerful suction and easy to use
The Shark Navigator NV356 is a very good product and we feel that we had a good deal at a much lower price that other products with the same performance. Our experience with Overstock has been great including the shipping, less expensive and I could not not believe it arrived in just 3 days from the order!

Great vaccuum for bare floors
I was a little concerned about this unit being refurbished. Haven't had a single problem and it was in perfect condition when we received it. I have a big house with no carpet on the downstairs - it's all either ceramic tile or fake wood, and we have a LOT of dirt outside, so it's almost impossible to keep our floors clean. I get so annoyed listening to people crunch as they walk!! Most vaccuums that claim to work on bare floors do a lousy job; in my experience they just scatter the stuff on the floor and blow it to a different spot. This does a better than average job of picking the stuff up. It's not perfect, but it's pretty darn good. I've tried some of the floor broom type of things and frankly they're just not up to the job - our area is too big (about 1800 sq feet downstairs and over an acre of land that is mostly dirt outside) and there is too much dirt for a small unit to handle. The lift away feature on this vaccuum is great too, and it's got a very long cord so I'm not replugging every few feet. It's easy to dump - there's a bottom release and also one on top. My only complaint is that the wand and tools aren't standard size. I've got a really soft bristled brush that I'd like to use on a window seat and other areas, but it doesn't fit on here. Bummer. But overall, I'm extremely pleased with this vaccuum cleaner.

Can't Beat it
Works like a champ. Love Shark vacuums. Bought this to replace my old Shark of many years, that finally gave out. Love this one even more than the last one. This one is more manageable (swivel head) and easy to get into corners. Only negative I have, is the extra attachments don't stay on the tube and work with the attachment holder like it is supposed to. Suction is top notch! Recommend highly!

Best vac
This is by far the best vacuum I've ever had, I wanted to wait and really use it to see if it has measured up, its been almost 6 months so now i can really say it is an excellent product. I hesitated for a long time before I decided to purchase it because it was refurbished. I have mostly hard wood floors and it works great on them, it maneuvers quite easily, the attachments are very easy to use, it works superbly on my furniture (I have pets) so it removes the hair and the dust they leave behind. When I used it the first time I was impressed at how much it picked up in fact down right grossed out at how much my other hard floor vac left behind.

Omg I should known about this vac years ago before I bought the Kirby :( I looooove this vacuum it made my life so much easier :) and I have cats and dogs picks everything fr hard floor and fr the carpet ! It's not like other regular vac it's the best and ez :) and the price is good too I'm very glad tat I got this everyone wit pets should have this vac :)
