The Shark MV3010 Vac or Steam is excellent... Folks, without boring the heck out of you, simply put my wife and I own or have owned many many EuroPro products and the MV3010 is just another to be added to a very long list. The "vac or steam" even purchased refurbished from Overstock is still a great buy. Having the two interchangeable heads makes the transition from vacuum to steam a snap with little fuss or bother. As an upright only vacuum it does a very respectable job of cleaning carpets or bare floors. We have four cats and as you can imagine litter clean up is a daily chore and the MV3010 easily handles the job along with the ordinary dirt and dust you find in any home. As a steam mop it is extremely easy to use; change the vacuum head to the steam head, fill the reservoir with water, plug the unit into your outlet, select the steam output you want, "dust" "mop" or "scrub" and once you pull the handle downward within about thirty seconds or so your cleaning and sanitizing your floors. Please pay attention to the instructions as to the steam output settings "dust" "mop" or "scrub" because EuroPro does not recommend the "scrub" setting for hardwood flooring. I also want you to pay attention to the routine maintenance of the MV3010 as you would any other Shark (EuroPro) product because inspecting the filters in the vacuum and cleaning them when needed will go a long way in keeping your vacuum/steam mop working for a very long time. I heartily agree with EuroPro that if you have hard water in your area you should use distilled water to prevent scale buildup in the steam head. Would I recommend the MV3010 to a friend, yes, but I suspect that our favorite EuroPro CEO is getting ready to introduce a new product as a replacement to the MV3010 which is why it is hard to find one new and why I settled on a refurbished unit. That being said I am very happy with the performance of the Shark MV3010.

Shark Bagless Vac-or-Steam Cleaner We switched to the Shark from a Dyson to get a lighter handling vacuum cleaner which can also do moderate steam cleaning. The Shark seems to do just as well at picking up dirt and it is definitely easier to handle. I am completely pleased with this vacuum.

K987 Amazing how this little machine cleaned our wood floors and tile with just water! The scrub setting got into the grout lines really well. Make sure you vacuum the hard surfaces well before cleaning.The vacuum function worked well too, carpet setting as well as fare foo resetting, it actually took off by itself. Great purchase.
