very happy now I don't have to get on my knees and mop kitchen, laundry room floor. Love it thank you againRead More
Very satisfied at how quickly it arrived from Overstock, and at the product it self. Does a wonderful job with the floors!!!Read More
never vacumed and only steamed once then stopped, it is junkRead More
received refurb. the vacuum portion worked great. changed over to the steam portion of the shark. that's when I had my issues. it steam for tank of water. I tried a second tank of water and the shark wouldn't produce steam anymore. I read some comments on line, so I suspect the refurb has mineral build up from a previous user, so steam can't come out of the little hole anymore.Read More
My sister recommended me to purchase the Shark Vac & Steam; And after a year I finally decided to puchased it. So far, I love it... I have to pets and I still have to sweep the floors and then vaccume, I have notice that there is less hair. The steam mop is perfect, I hate mopping but with the steam mop I love it...It makes the job easier.Read More
I bought this product without reading any reviews first and I'm glad i didnt. I love it. It is not hard to push at all in either mode. I didnt have any trouble with the pick up. it sucked up everything on my floor without pushing it around or blowing it like my regular vac does. I really liked the mop, had to go over a few spots a couple times, but its was way better than scrubbing on my hands and knees like i used to do. plus its sanitary without having to spend money on all kinds of chemicals. my favorite part is when i'm done i can walk through my kitchen and dining room without having stuff stuck to the bottom of my feet(my biggest pet peeve).Read More
Well since my home is full of ceramic tile for our flooring I had already purchased the Shark Steam Mop which I totally love. But I have to sweep it first....So I thought this one would be the answer. It does vacum your bare floors but the steam mop is not as steamy as the Steam Mop and it seems like the pads are too thick to let the steam out. It works but I just recently purchased the Shark Vacum for hard floors and carpet w/ pet hairs and it's good!!Read More
I have hardwoods and tile and this cleaner does a great job on both. My floors have never looked cleaner than after I steam them. I do wish the vacuum was better suited for carpets; it has good suction, but is very difficult to maneuver. However, my only real complaint is that it is louder than most vacuums--only when vacuuming, not when steaming. Worse, there is a high-pitch to the sound that bothers my ears. I usually wear ear plugs when vacuuming to preserve my hearing, but I need them with the Shark to be comfortable.Read More
I had this product for 9 months, only been used 4 times, and Steamer died. When the product is refurbished, I have no idea what the original issue the machine had, spend couple more dollars and buy BRAND NEW with Warranty.Read More
On a whole it is a great product. vacumn clip is a little weak so be carful, but it does a wonderful job.Read More
Questions & Answers
If used regular tap water, anything other than distilled water, mineral build up will ruin the machine, not steam, etc. Better invest to new one and always use distilled water only, for any kind of machine that requires water to operate.
Can this be used on laminate floors
Thank you jcperkins for the opportunity to help you with the Shark MV2010 Vac-then-Steam 2-in-1 Vacuum/ Steam Mop (Refurbished). A steamer or steam cleaner is not recommended on laminate floors because the hot steam penetrates the joints and underlining of the laminate where the glue is and it will slowly dissolve the glue causing the corners of the laminate pieces to curl up or become loose and brittle so no it is to be used on a laminate floor. Thank you for shopping with us.
CAN I USE THIS ON MY LAMINATED FLOORS??
Yes, this is safe on all sealed hard floor surfaces.
