The Blind is very heavy, great quality. I was very pleased after the blind was hung, it is truly beautiful and gives my bedroom the feeling of being in a tropical paradise. My room is not on the sunny side of the house so I was'nt looking for anything to block light just to filter it and it does a great job doing this and still plenty dark to sleep in the daytime.
