This is a very substantial piece of furniture. I absolutely love the color and it's very well made (great quality). As far as asembly goes----be prepared to spend most of the day on (even if you are technically inclined) as there are a lot of pieces to put together (includings knobs, screws, etc). The directions are pretty straightforward which allows for less confusion for the most part. Overstock.com packed this very well......no major damage during shippng. Be prepared for lots of boxes. Don't delay...order today! You won't be disappointed.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture, and I would highly recommend it! Be prepared to spend a LOT of time putting it together, and it requires at least two adults. The end product is well worth the time. It is much taller than I expected, but it looks beautiful in the room. Taller than a 6'2" adult.

This is a great piece. Yes, lots of work to put together, but very much worth it - solid & heavy. I left off the back so the painted wall behind would show through, and it looks great. Keep in mind that without the back, you need to secure the shelves or they slide off the pegs! I just love it & can't believe it was so inexpensive & that the shipping was insanely cheap, too.

I bought this in May 2008 and was very impressed with the price and quality...saw similar product elsewhere for almost triple the price. It has held up extremely well...very sturdy and heavy. Moved in Dec 09 and all we had to do was remove the screws that connect the hutch to the drawer unit. Putting it back together was a snap. I highly recommend this piece...you will not be sorry..plenty of storage. Easy to move if you have plastic moving men discs to put under feet.

I read and re-read te reviews on this item, and looked everywhere for something comparable. There is something on another site for $1,000 more and I am not sure it is made of as much wood as this one. It took about 9 hours to complete with two people. The wood truly is beautiful. I am not sure, though, if every piece is rubberwood (e.g., drawers, back of unit), but clealry it is a nicely made piece. Everyone that sees it is impressed. Be prepared to spend time putting it together. Mine had some damage when it arrived and Overstock was quite gracious working with me. I am more than satisfied with Overstock's customer service and the quality of the product and would purchase the item again.

I was very impressed with the delivery time of this unit. It arrived on my doorstep within a few days of ordering. I feel like I got a fabulous deal for the price. It looks great, the color is so rich, and it holds alot of stuff. The actual color is listed as walnut cherry on the box. I would definitely suggest at least two strong people to assemble. Two of us put it together in about six hours but we there were times when the assistance of a third person would have come in handy. This thing is HEAVY!

This entertainment center is absolutely stunning - the wood finish is rich and it's made of extremely high-quality materials. It's a LOT bigger than it looks in the picture and weighs over 350 lbs. fully assembled - they are really not kidding when they say it takes two people to put it together. It can't be lifted by one person. As someone else mentioned, the enclosed wrench for the camlocks is pretty useless but a flat-head screwdriver works well. I love all the storage space that the drawers provide, and the adjustable shelves are great. It's also nice to have the TV unit up so high - it's over 3 feet off the floor. This was a great purchase - although I would have paid more to have someone carry and assemble it for me. It's SO heavy.

This entertainment unit looks fantastic! I've seen nearly identical pieces for over a thousand dollars more than this one. The quality of the wood exceeded my expectations. My only disappointment was a few dents and scratches in the top shelf. After assembly they aren't very noticeable, but my husband was annoyed. All in all we are thrilled with this and feel like we got a great deal.

It's beautiful - It was labeled well so there were not questions wondering where something went - although it was still time consuming. It's high off the ground so my 1 and 3 year old can't color on it or touch the t.v. screen. It's great very glad we bought it.

This was my first purchase with Overstock.com, and I was not disappointed. The product came exactly the date that was promised, and there was not a thing missing. The wood is thick and hard, not a flimsy piece, each box (5 in total weighed somewhere between 66 - 89 lbs. per box). The unit looks exactly like the picture on-line and looks like I paid more for it then I actually did. My husband and I found it very easy to assemble. It took us about 6 hours to fully assemble from opening the box to pushing it against the wall. The instructions were very user friendly. This is a high quality piece of furniture that is very well made. I will definitely come back to Overstock.com for future purchases.

This entertainment unit is worth the price, it looks great and has plenty of storage room. I had looked for a piece like this in several retail furniture stores and did not locate one. After endless looking I went to overstock and found this unit. Not being a avid online shopper I was a little apprehensive but when the unit arrived and assembled I was impressed with the quality and appearance. I am very pleased and would recommend this product.

This is a wonderful piece of furniture ONCE you get it assembled! I was expecting it to come in perhaps four or five large pieces, but it came in five different boxes and dozens of separate pieces. Expect it to take about 10 - 15 hours to fully assemble. Although one person can assemble most of it, you'll need at least two adults for certain parts of the job. Fortunately it doesn't take a lot of tools and the instructions are fairly well written. The wood is a beautiful hardwood that comes well protected and of high quality. On the cam-locks a flathead screwdriver works better than the enclosed hex wrench. Other than that, about all you'll need is a rubber mallot, phillips screwdriver, and perhaps a drill with a phillips bit (to make some of the screwing go faster and easier on your hand). Again, it takes a lot of time and patience to assemble, but I feel it was worth it once it was finished!
