This is a nice product, and it arrived in-tact. Overstock was the cheapest price on the internet. We bought as a serve piece addition to our Fiestaware. It's a little heavy, so the handles are useful for passing around a table, and the divided dish allows two different items to be placed in the dish so there are fewer dishes to pass.

  • What Happened to Dansk quality?

Magnificent design. Perfect for chilling before adding green salads/fruit salads/shrimp/melon pieces. But the qualify is bad. I remember when Dansk meant something. Guess that was a time that is no more. Pitted, scratched. Too bad. It went back, of course. I'd be embarassed to put it on the table.

    Beautiful salad bowl

    Feb 18, 2014

    drcarol6  from New Mexico, Rating:5.0

I had no idea a salad bowl could be so beautiful. The striations in the wood are gorgeous and it is much bigger than I expected. You could serve a salad for a party of 12 or if you wanted to splurge on yourself- a party of one!! I rubbed it down with a clove of garlic and olive oil but recently read an article on the usefulness of using a lemon for antibacterial effect.
