The color is true to the photo, the quality seems very good and the weight assures me that it will stand up to wear and tear. I also purchased the blue platter to match and I will be buying more Rachael Ray stoneware soon. Really looking forward to owning the orange colored bakeware!

These bowls are very pretty and I get lots of compliments on them. These are dessert bowls and perfect for ice cream or pudding. I have owned these bowls for about three months and use them almost everyday. They have red paint along the top of the bowls that give them that red color. The mfg says thet should be hand washed for that reason, but I have enough stuff that has to be hand washed so I put them in the dishwasher. Some of the paint is coming off, but they will still be pretty without it. There is red paint available for stained glass and I have some. I just want to check to see if it is food safe. If not I will check the craft store for a glass paint that is.

There are so many ways to fill this perfectly sized, attractive dish with matching spreader. The bird is sweet, and the shape and weight of the bowl makes it right for butter, soft cheese, dip, etc. I used mine for butter on the Christmas table--I can tell that I will cherish this one, and should buy at least one more for the future. It's so cute, and classic at the same time.
