I were a bit skeptical to buy this topper as I know like all of you out there, a good night sleep is priceless... was just thinking of getting rid of my mattress which is still in mid condition and got one of those Tempur Medic mattress instead...Last minutes, I have decided to try this one out first...... oh my Gosh, it was so very comfortable..& .how good was it???? I almost missed work this morning and it is just not so me to do that... My advice, spend monies to buy this first if you are thinking about replacing your mattress... it is really really Great for a fraction of what could cost you..and it is made by Serta...can't go wrong with that.. Please note of one thing, the instruction of how to open this topper was packed in the bottom of the box, so I tried to manually rolled the topper opened and Opps, it was a mistake...I did open it, but it took a lot of of me to do so.... Please do not attempt to do that, just open the topper from its wrapper and let it sit on the floor for at leasat 24hour to air out the smell, but also make it easier to roll it open later. One happy and repeat customer...

It is wonderfully comfortable. The directions were followed, the smell went away, and it unfolded perfectly. It is much heavier than I anticipated, and I'm sure it will hold up for many years. I felt the price was fair and the shipping for Overstock is always amazing. Thanks.

After a month of waiting for my item to ship... I finally got it and tried it out. As other reviewers have mentioned... this is not made by Serta (comes wrapped in plastic wrap, with a piece of paper saying made FOR serta). It is also not real memory foam, there is a lot of filler in this product. I have a real memory foam pillow, and it's much better than the make up of this mattress topper. I don't feel that this is going to last incredibly long, and I feel that it is going to wear down in the spots most used/slept on... But if you don't have the money for a new mattress, this is certainly a good buy for the price. If I knew of a better product, I probably would have gone with a more expensive make.

We purchased this mattress topper to prolong the life of our current mattress that was starting to sag a bit in the middle. The first one delivered was not packaged properly and was damaged. Overstock replaced it within three days. After sleeping on this for a few months I will say that it took some getting use to, It is warmer than sleeping on a regular mattress. It is doing the job we purchased it for but next summer we will buy a new mattress and throw this one away.

The price and quality can't be beat! The smell was gone in less than 4 hours-it only needs to "air out" I bought this to replace a 2" topper and am so very glad I did. A word of warning, It is so comfortable that I don't want to get up in the a.m.

VERY comfortable - I weigh 235 - almost no movement is transferred to the other side of the bed when I roll over, and I do not bottom out with the 4" pad. Before buying this mattress topper, I had a hard time sleeping through the night. I find that it is so comfortable, I want to go to bed and am asleep quickly. Keep in mind, the box is 40lbs (full-size mattress). Fortunately my building has an elevator, I can't imagine carrying something so bulky and heavy up the stairs!

I had been having severe hip pain for months and I thought that nothing was going to help. I did some research on mattresses and memory foam pads. The memory foam for a king was very expensive in the stores almost made it not worth getting it and just buying another mattress...then I thought of overstock...WOW was I happy with the price! Still a bit worried about what would arrive but I felt like I would not be out that much money if it was poor quality....I am so Happy with the product it arrived earlier than expected, there were no issues with it at all and I can tell you that for the first time in months I slept through the night without pain!!! I could not be more pleased you can buy this with total confidence. I am going to be checking out overstock before I go anywhere elseSondra

Love this mattress topper. It is a very affordable option if you can't afford the full mattress. We love ours so much we are buying ones for our daughters bed and our guest bed. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. I had heard that the memory foam makes the bed hotter which it absolutely does not - the temperature is the same as any bed. BUY ONE!

I don't think the foam is 5lb/foot but it is at least 4 which is what I wanted. Did not smell like my last purchase and the slight odor dissapated after a day or so.

A friend of mine had ordered two of these pads for her master and guest bedrooms, and I had the opportunity to try them out last summer. I found them to be very comfortable, so I ordered one for the guest bed at my mother's house, because I visit there frequently, and the bed has a hard futon mattress.The pad took a long time to decompress; it was over a day before we could even unfold it, and two of the edges were permanently compressed. It made no difference in the sleeping surface as it only came in about 3 inches.I am a large person, about 230lbs, with fibromyalgia, so I ordered the 4-inch pad expressly to avoid feeling the hardness of the mattress underneath. I have a 3 inch pad of the same 4lb density on my home mattress that is pretty firm. Unfortunately, this Serta pad is soft enough that I still sink right down and feel the futon's hardness, so I do not get the support I expected to get. I wish I had purchased the other brand, even if it's thinner and a bit more expensive. This one still feels plush and nice, and probably would work well for someone smaller and/or without fibromyalgia.

Waited about two weeks, and got product I would have to pay twice that much in Germany.Thanks for good job. If you have problems with hips buy it. No more pain anymore.

This topper is very comfortable. I've had toppers from 1-3 inches over the years but 4 inches is the way to go. The packing materials mention that this topper has some proprietary carbon mixture that prevents/mitigates the smell but it is actually worse than average.

Love the foam mattress topper. My husband complains of many aches and pains especially his back. Bought this to see if it would help. MUCH better for him and for me it is like sleeping on a cloud. Is not at all hot and fits the sheets and mattress pad we have. Also arrived promptly.

I received the mattress topper quickly and it was what I expected. It took only about two hours for it to unfold and gain its shape. There was no smell and we were able to sleep on it the first night. I was concerned about nicks after reading one of the other reviews but mine was in perfect shape. It was very firm and continues to be fairly firm after a couple of weeks. We haven't had any problem with heat retention but we use a heavy all cotton mattress pad. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I'm not sure if this is a review for OverStock or for the matress topper I bought, but....OverStock did an excellent job on pricing and delivery. the matress topper seems to be OK so far after a couple of weeks.I have to add here that I bought the king size topper, but it didn't fit the bed. The topper is the size advertized, but its not the same size as my king size bed.Be SURE of your beds dimensions when ordering... I found the topper to be 4 inches short.We will use it until it wears out then buy a proper mattress

It arrived quickly, however, my husband hated it the very first night. It's impossible to return as you'll never shrink it to fit back into that little box. I'll use it for guests instead of blow up mattress, or outside by pool to lay on. It's also very warm to sleep on. Think twice before ordering!
