This Serta Air Bed features a Never Flat technology that makes getting into and out of easier. This bed has an auto-engaging, whisper quiet pump that maintains constant air pressure throughout the night for an undisturbed, continuous night's rest.
Air pump included
Inflating time: 2 minutes, 45 seconds
Deflating time: 3 minutes
Controller: Internal pump

Before using this product it is necessary to inflate it several times in the first week. This process allows for the natural expansion of the puncture-resistant PVC material and lets it maintain its intended size and shape. Use and subsequent deflating of the mattress before this adjustment period is over should not be perceived as a leak.

This is my second air bed to purchase over an 8 year period. This like buying the "Cadillac" model. The mattress cover was a bonus!!! Made just right for the bed! The bed is very comfortable - height is nice - easy to get up and down as well as accommodating the toddlers. Just what I was looking for. It did not lose the air - first time using it I left it up for 2 weeks! Features on the pump prevent having to pump it up occasionally.
How did the color on site compare with the actual product? It is as it appears on the site.
Please tell us about the quality of the product. The Serta name was what made me decide to choose from the many, many air beds online. The quality of the bed is what I expected from the name - superb!
How accurate was the on site description of the product? Exact!
What a nice suprise! I had this shipped to a friend so that when I went to visit I would not have to roll out of an inflated bed and be on my knees
on the floor. I am of the older generation and I could sit on this bed and put my shoes on. My sleeping companion also found it most comfortable. Easy to use. Easy to inflate....BUT I left the rolling it back up to him so can't comment on that part. I will buy another based on sleeping. The comfort top really kept the cold away.

Just used this for a week-long ski trip and it worked great and was very comfortable. Really like the auto-firmness setting which comes on occasionally if the bed softens up a bit. There's a very soft hum when that happens that you'd only hear if you were already awake. The hands-free inflate/deflate is nice too. Just turn the dial and it runs until it's finished and stops automatically. I like the height of the bed also, feels more like a regular bed.
It's nice that the included pad isn't built into the bed. I had a memory foam Aerobed that developed a leak and having the memory foam built in made it nearly impossible to find the leak. Plus the separate pad can be washed, if needed.
I also like that the carry bag is large enough to hold the bed rolled up with the pad, sheets, and a blanket still on the bed. I'd deflate the bed with everything still on it, roll it up, and stow it. Then just roll it back out, plug it in, and a pre-made bed inflated up. Definitely would recommend.

I found the bed to be more oval shaped than rectangle. Meaning that it bulges bad on the sides. A queen size fitted does not fit well on the mattress, and the pillow top cover they have for it is a joke, it pops off almost as soon as you put it on and it is a pain in the butt just to get it on. if you do get every thing on right, and you get in and out of bed more then 2 times you have to put it all back the pillow top and fitted sheets back on the bed. I do not think I got the same bed as in the picture the one in the picture had corner spots to hold the bedding the one I got did not. I really think I should have gotten the cheaper one with the flocking and the holders instead of the pillow top one. I have to say I am very disappointed

My Thanksgiving guests will be pleasantly surprised to see and sleep on this. Love the option to set the "stay firm" so it inflates automatically if it loses air. It comes with its own mattress pad too..
This bed was expensive, but was worth it because it has a built in inflater and deflater and keeps you off the ground. We slept on it for about 5 days when we moved across the country while we waited for our bed to be delivered. We also liked how you could choose how soft or firm the bed was. There is a similar model for way cheaper at Aldi Food Stores, but I would not want to lug something this heavy around. With O.co it was delivered right to our door.
is there any models that can run on 220vac 60hz power? I want to take this bed overseas.jcuria on Sep 6, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Thank you for your interest in this air bed and the answer to your question is no we do not carry a bed that runs on european electricity but I did on the other hand find you A: Lewis N. Clark 50-200W Dual Converter Kit, product # 15130027 so you can take it overseas, and no matter what electricity they are running, there is an adaptor for it and you are covered. Just type that number or description into the Overstock.com product search bar and you will be taken directly to it. Thank you for shopping Overstock.com.overstockcustomercare1 on Sep 12, 2013
I understand that this needs to be plugged in to inflate, but that it also runs throughout the night to stay inflated. Does it use batteries to do this? If so which kind of batteries?customer1357 on Mar 13, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Thanks for your interest, this bed would need to be plugged in all the time as its power source is from a AC outlet. overstockcustomercare1 on Mar 15, 2013
It stays plugged in and adjusts when it feels it needs totbyrd1050 on Mar 31, 2013
It runs on electricity. I never heard the bed make another noise after I inflated it. I don't think you have to keep it plugged in once you inflate it, I think that is just to keep it from losing any air that normally happens with the manual blow up mattresses.nl42 on Apr 7, 2013
Thank you for the question. I searched and did not find a full in the Serta brand but this had very good reviews and is a full, 13191403.overstockcustomercare1 on Feb 14, 2013
another person asked if it needs to be plugged in or run on batteries. Is this only referring to the air pump when inflating/deflating? It doesn't need to be plugged in all night right?cggs on Feb 4, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Great question. This only needs to be plugged in when inflating and deflating, yes. Have a great day!overstockcustomercare1 on Feb 6, 2013
If you want the never flat feature to work, it has to stay plugged in.gman65 on Oct 22, 2013
I am looking at purchasing yet another air mattress for a cabin we have. The most expensive one I purchased was made by Entex and leaked after only 2-3 uses by my 110 lb. daughter. We have Serta mattresses at our home and are pleased with them. I am looking at the one w/ pillowtop and the one without that both say 'never-flat.' Which one would you advise? There's only a $ or two difference in the queen-size mattresses that you are offering in thislnhm on Sep 25, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question

what is the total height (airbed plus pillow top) and how thick is the pillowtop itself?fabric content of top too pls - also how is it removable, is it atttached or inside, with zipper, or what? thank you.shannaj on Sep 14, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
The pillow top only adds about a quarter inch to the height of the bed. With the pillow top, the total height is 18.25 inches. The materials of the pad are polyester lining with medium density foam. It attaches to the bed using an elastic lining that is around the pad itself. It essentially hangs onto the bed around the sides and is removable.overstockcustomercare1 on Sep 19, 2012
