Before using this product it is necessary to inflate it several times in the first week. This process allows for the natural expansion of the puncture-resistant PVC material and lets it maintain its intended size and shape. Use and subsequent deflating of the mattress before this adjustment period is over should not be perceived as a leak.

I bought this as part of my housewarming gift for my daughter's new home. I knew there would probably be a number of people staying the night of the party and figured this would come in handy. My other daugher and her husband slept on it both nights we were there. It held up perfectly and was very comfortable.

Superior product!
I am SO happy with this purchase! I've had other air mattresses before for our guests, only to find that our guests woke up with a deflated bed or one that was uncomfortably saggy. This one was "AMAZING" as my sister put it. She stayed with us for a week, and the bed maintained its firmness. My sister said she didn't even notice the air pump as it was extremely quiet. Since the bed was set up in our recreation room, our family watched a video on tv, and we had two adults and one child on it during the movie, and it was comfortable for us all. My sister said other beds didn't even compare to this one, as it is so supportive and comfortable. She thanked me every morning for getting this air mattress.

Now this is an airbed !!!!!
I've used a couple of different manufacturers airbed(s) and I must say I'm glad I did because when I tried the Serta it was like finding true love, I just knew this was the one; in other words I'm now "Sertafied" (smile)

Airbed for guest
I order this for as a spare bed for guest use. Test it when it first arrived and very comfortable. The build-in pump is very quiet and inflate very fast. Easy to pack up too. Come with a carrying bag for storage. So far we like the bed. Very easy to setup too. I recommend this product if you like good quality airbed ( not a cheap one you get from discount store which will not last )

Love it!!
The bed has been great! I have had company sleep on it, as well as myself. It is quite comfortable.

Great bed
This is a great mattress for however you wish to use it. Good quality, super fast pump, maintains air pressure nicely.The pump is kind of loud when you are first filling it, maybe close to vacuum cleaner loud. I had it set up for a couple of weeks and never did hear the pump come on to maintain the pressure, so it either holds pressure extremely well, or the pump is incredibly quiet when maintaining pressure, which is what the manufacturer states it is. It's comfortable, I was tempted to sleep on it for a night to see how I would fare, but I never did. However, just lying on it as a test was very comfortable considering it is an air mattress. You can pick different firmness levels and once filled is lightweight and easy to slide around. Mine was on carpet. I now have it folded up in the storage bag that came with and will keep it in a closet until next time I have company.

Super comfortable
This mattress is very easy to store and inflate. We have had several guests sleep on it and have a very restful sleep. We do put on an additional gel mattress to soften it up a bit.

Serta raised airbed
This air mattress is awesome! I used it while staying with my parents. We were amazed at how much it looks like an actual bed when aired up, but even more amazed at the comfort level. I love that I can control the firmness of the mattress when airing it up. I was also impressed with the quality. During the weeks I used it, there was never any loss of air. It is by far the easiest air mattress to set up and deflate I have ever used. I would recommend this bed to anyone.

Surprisingly great!
We were in the process of moving and ended up needing hotel rooms on both sides of the move. To save on costs we decided to see if an airbed would work for us. To our surprise, this bed was as comfortable as a real bed. However, since we are large people, we found this to be a bit small for us. We rushed out to get a second bed and found a twin size 'Roots' bed, which we bought. We were able to compare these side by side and the Serta was heads above the Roots airbed! We especially liked the never-flat feature. The Roots bed, on the other hand, had to be re-inflated slightly each night. Having the two beds, and being able to compare the quality side by side, we would absolutely recommend this to anyone (even larger people).
