What does "plush": mean for a mattress...does this mean it is extra soft? we need a firm mattress...so would not want plush if that is the meaning. Thanks for clarifying.

I loved the feel of this mattress, it was very comfortable, however it arrived with what looked like blood stains and holes and seemed to me to be a used mattress. The plastic covering it was sealed so it wasn't that it had gotten dirty during the delivery. It also was not sewn appropriately as the corner's stuffing was coming through the seam that was not attached. The box spring's padding layer had not been attached firmly so that they did not lay tightly together. With all that being said, I sent it back. It was very unsettling as I had to arrange two days to be home, one for the original delivery and then for the pickup with no mattress to show for it. I was given back my money and asked if I wanted to order another one but they seriously should have offered a huge discount for a replacement and I probably would have tried again with the affirmation that the next one would be new, clean and free of defects. This all makes its hard to give it an appropriate star rating as for the quality and comfort, it would be a 5, but handling of it whether in the warehouse or if they tried to pass off a used one to me would be a negative. I do want to say that I believe this to be Serta's fault not Overstock as they order these from Serta when you order them.Read More
