I really wanted a temperpedic mattress, but heard so many horror stories of how the mattress quickly sinks in the middle over time and it makes you very hot at night. So that's when I decided to look into a hybrid between a temperpedic and box spring mattress. I absolutely LOVE this mattress, and you can't beat the price!!! I've had this mattress for 3 years now and it's absolutely amazing. The only con is that since I sleep by myself most of the time, the mattress has lost some firmness in the area where I lay--this still happened even though I make sure to flip my mattress and turn it around every few months. Still, the difference is not very noticeable and I still sleep great. I also love the firmness of the mattress--I wanted a firmer mattress, but still with a soft feel of the temperpedic. That's exactly what I got. And, they even installed it (took apart my old mattress, put it where I wanted it, and setup my new bed) for free!! And they were very fast with doing the setup!Read More
Great bed that is no out of stock, used in my guest room and guests love it. Well made, firm support, I took a chance n bought this based on its warrantee. Now want another one for my sister and its no longer available.Read More
If you are in any way sensitive to chemicals stay away from this mattress. It really does provide good back support but if anyone had shared that it off gasses a chemical smell for - literally 3 months!- I never would have purchased it. I have allergies and asthma and it was brutal for me to sleep on this thing for the first month and a half. Each morning I would strip the sheets off the bed and open our windows in the bedroom with a fan going when it was freezing out to get the chemical smell out of our room. These sorts of chemicals should not be allowed to be put in our furniture.Read More

I'm so BLESSED and Grateful for this set. I'm the kind of person that will pray on large purchases and let the heaven's above do the rest. And, I've NEVER been let down! The reviews were good , but I think this set is better than I could have ever dreamed... Thank you OVERSTOCK for offering this set at an AMAZING PRICE!! I would have paid over $1000.00 + in a mattress store or warehouse for this type of set. Not to mention, the delivery fee that would have been attached. The delivery was very professional, and within the time frame quoted. And, they cleaned up everything before leaving my house. I could not be happier. Oh, before I forget the firmness is just what I needed for my back!!! MUCH LOVE OVERSTOCK, GLENDARead More

This mattress is very comfortable, we got it after discovering I was pregnant with twins. I spent most of my whole first trimester sleeping on it and it is a great investment. Being 28 weeks pregnant with twins I still sleep decently on the mattress set.Read More
Serta Perfect Sleeper Liberation Cushion Firm Queeze-size mattress is a firm bed but with extra cushion that make it not too firm. At first, I couldn't get use to the cushion but after a few nights I got use to it. The cushion provides the extra support that I needed without wrapping up my body like a memory form bed would. The price on Overstock was great and the white glove delivery was excellent. They took the bed all the way up to my 3rd floor apt and there are no elevator. A similar bed like this in Macys would cost me $800. The bed did sit very high with the box spring on my sleigh bed. I'm 5'4 and the bed was to my bottom when standing next to it. Didn't like that at first but I got use to it now. Actually, I kind of like it now because I could get on and off the bed without having to bend over or anything :) I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm getting a good night sleep.Read More

How to Pick a Mattress Pad for a Sleeper Sofa

Best Reasons to Buy Firm Baby Crib Mattresses
When you're shopping for baby crib mattresses, safety should always come first. A soft mattress may make sleeping more comfortable for you, but the same could be hazardous, even deadly, for your infant. Baby crib mattresses should be firm -- as firm as possible -- to keep your little one safe during the night or daytime naps. You may be tempted towards the soft baby crib mattresses for your child, thinking that he'll be more comfortable. Babies, however, don't need the same joint support as adults, but they do need baby crib mattresses that reduce the risk of harm from their baby furniture while they sleep. There are many reasons to buy a firm baby mattress, and the following tips can help you determine what to look for.

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body. Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
