worth buying for the price
The overall assembly was relatively easy and didn't require a lot of time. It took me roughly 2 hours and I'm a girl! My husband did tighten the screws because I guess I didn't tighen them enough. The mattress is thick and extremely comfortable. The arms are constructed out of wood and are pre-assembled and very sturdy. The frame is metal and sturdy. The metal wrench they give you to tighen the nuts on the frame is worthless so have a proper wrench/vicd-grip handy. The frame has 3 different positions and is easy to manipulate and change. There is a technique but not difficult to master. I do recommend buying a futon mattress cover at the same time. There is no way to wash the cover on the matress because of the stuffing inside.

Beautiful Futon
This futon is classy once put together. Even though I assembled this futon by myself in about 1.5 hours, I would advise this as a two person job due to the awkwardness of parts and the extensive amount of bolting-in required. It is not incredibly complicated to assemble, just tedious. The wood-work is gorgeous and just like the picture, however, the mattress color is darker than expected. It is worth noting that this is the most comfortable futon I have used, but it is still moderate to firm as far as sleeping goes. The wonderful thing is that you don't feel the framework underneath when you sit, which is a risk when you purchase metal framed futons. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and would absolutely recommend this product to friends.

Extremely Satisfied
This futon was exactly what I was looking for - good comfort, stylish, and great value compared to some at furniture stores that I looked at. The fabric is a dark taupe/ light chocolate microfiber - looks nice. It was very easy to put together and looks great. Another good overstock purchase!!

Set Up Help
You are getting exactly what you are paying for. Mattress is comfortable and overall presentation is nice. If you need help with set up there is a step by step video guide on the website which is REALLY helpful! I just put this together by myself and it wasn't too bad just time consuming. I recommend using two people for the sake of convenience.

Futon was an excellent choice.
The purchase of a futon for my basement family room was without a doubt the best purchase I have made in a while for that area. This futon is sturdy, looks very nice, and the bed portion is very comfortable. I mainly purchased this futon for use in the basement for several teenagers to use for sitting for gaming and to be used for quest to sleep over.

Very Pretty Package
I was extermely pleased that the look and feel of the product was everything I had hoped for. I am always skeptical of ordering anything online, but I depended on the brand and I have had good results in the past and thought I'd take a chance. It is beautiful! The mattress is not too soft, it gives, but has a firmness to it so it is very comfortable! It matches the wood in my room perfectly! A great value!

Nice if u can get it together.
We almost sent it back it. The part would not line up with bolts and we had to finish tapping out a few of the holes and move 1 to the correct alinement. The construction of the parts was horrific. But, the mattress and the length of the bed once we were able to get it together was great. My hubby said it was really nice and stronger than the other futon we owned. I think it will last a long time.

Goods futon, bad part
I had read many reviews before my purchase, and a common statement was people getting broken parts. I took a gamble, but we received a broken t bar (the middle support bar). It looked like the welding wasn't done properly and the bar was being held on the base by only a thread. Customer service was fine, they sent the piece out, but it took an entire week to arrive. We were lucky that we had planned enough ahead that it didn't effect our company coming. It seems to be decent so far. Feels comfortable and our company had no complaints.

Nice futon, poor welding job
Biggest disappointment: one of the legs on the supporting bars is barely hanging on, which means I have to crawl underneath and re-center it beneath the bar any time I want to adjust the placement of the futon. Don't be confused - the frame is Serta brand, but they make no promises that the mattress will be, and it is NOT a Serta mattress. They're giving you a really good deal to include the mattress in the purchase, and it's a very nice one, but it won't be name brand. It's a very nice velvety surface but you may want to purchase a cover that can be washed. The wooden part of the frame is very finely sanded, attractive, and pleasant to the touch. The metal components are not as well finished, so be careful. All parts and pieces arrived together and assembly was time consuming but not too difficult. I slept on it for a few nights before I moved my bed in, and my parents used it when they came to visit, and with an egg carton on top, we all slept surprisingly well. Mechanics seem to be fully operational and not too difficult to get the hang of.
