Serta Eco-friendly 2-inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper

I bought this for me. I hate our mattress but my husband could've cared less. I was pretty sure I wanted a memory foam mattress in the future, but didn't want to pay the price for one and find I didn't like it. I figured trying a topper first would be a good trial run. I opened it, put it on the bed, let it air out and fluff up. We slept on it that night. Guess who LOVED it? My husband. We find the topper far more comfortable than any mattress we've (together or independently) ever owned and plan on buying a full mattress of this material in the future. Neither of us find it too hot and are comfy all night long. I can sleep on my stomach for the first time in years!! The chemical smell from ours only lasted for a few days and was mild to non existant most of the time. I wouldn't trade it for anything other than a full mattress version!!!

I've purchased (and used for over a month) two of these, a King for myself, and a Queen for my mother. Both arrived promptly, did not have significant odor, had a proper fit. They make the sleeping experience just that much more wonderful. My mother wanted to know whether she could use her mattress warming pad with the foam topper. I contacted Serta via the email provided with the topper, they wrote me back promptly, gave me two possible manufacturer's to contact. I called and immediately got very pleasant assistance and response.

I bought this topper as a last attempt to save the world's most uncomfortable mattress. I'm not quite ready to buy a new mattress and needed something to hold me over for another few months. This was definitely one of the best purchases I have ever made. I've told all of my co-workers to go out an buy one. It did have a bit of paint/plastic odor when I first got it, so I let it air out for a full 24 hours before putting it on the bed. I used it for the first time last night and I had the best night's sleep I have ever had. It saved my mattress and my back.

Very nice touch to the pad. I ordered the king because of comments from others--had to cut about 8" off to fit the top of the queen bed--not as beautiful, but have extra to make some small pillows. Didn't notice any odor after I unrolled it. Some people had reviewed that the "holes" were too large in the memory foam--couldn't see any and I didn't feel warm sleeping on the memory foam. Made the hard mattress comfy! Great service and shipped very quickly.

After having a regular foam topper, the "cool" topper was much firmer and I needed the electric blanker all winter to feel warm enough. I was never warm enough. We never had any problems with our old non-cool topper. My biggest complaint is I never felt comfortable with this topper---my lower back aches frequently, or I feel pressure points on various us areas all the time.
